Great Home for a Family Vacation

We had an amazing family vacation for spring break at this home. We enjoyed the space and all of the amenities that were offered. My kids loved it! The host was very friendly and responsive and the property was as described. I would highly recommend this property.

This home was an amazing little get away! we wish we booked more days, the pickleball courts, pool kitchen were all as described and everything worked out great. I do want to note the downside was the fee for the pool to be heated (& 2 day minimum) and the wifi wasnt the most ideal (for someone who had to get some homework done) other than that we are DEFINITELY booking here again we loved it! they have all the kitchen necessities etc.

Thanksgiving getaway

Absolutely beautiful property with all of attention by owner to ensure a great stay (hot tub, outdoor tv, fire, Cowboy tub, hammocks, etc). Enjoyed watching shoot stars. The host was extremely responsive! We have stayed at many vacation rentals, but this place is top due to set up and host.

Great for an escape!

My husband and I stayed here with our small dog. Views were spectacular and property was a nice quiet retreat. About a 15 minute drive from all the hotspots. Host and management company were great and offer lots of options/recommendations. Minor detail that the neighborhood is all dirt roads, which is a bit of an adventure in a smaller rental car, but was still do-able.

Oasis in the Desert

Our family had a wonderful time at this little oasis in the desert. The views are breathtaking, accommodations outstanding and the host was easy to reach with any questions. Unfortunately the oven did not work but Matt was able to get a repair person out to fix it first thing Monday morning.

Joshua Tree Gem

This house was absolutely amazing! The outdoor space was wonderful for relaxing under the desert stars at night. All rooms/beds were comfortable. So nice to be so close to JTNP and being able to relax so well after a full day of hiking and exploring. Our family wished we would have booked more time here. The host was very responsive and helpful!

Joshua tree getaway

This place is amazing!! Peaceful, very comfortable beds and excellent showers. The outdoor space is a great set up, evening fire pit was a nice touch and the hot tub was large which was quite nice.

Luxury in the High Desert

We had a group of 5 adults and 3 furry companions that was looking for a great place to stay relatively close to Pioneertown to check out a show at Pappy's and Ventana Cove checked every single box we could have hoped for. Super easy check in process and Matthew was very quick to respond to the few questions I had. The kitchen is almost better equipped than my own house and I cook a ton. It has every pot/pan and seasoning you'd need to prepare group meals. The beds were SUPER comfortable. Like 4-5 star hotel caliber. and the media setup was amazing, with super fast WiFi. This place is definitely on my radar for future visits.

Will be back !

My girlfriend and I had the best gateway so far, we are big on views so we really enjoyed watching the sunset, the stars, and city lights. The jacuzzi hit the spot and so did the outdoor fireplace , kept us warm while we enjoyed the views , we will definitely be going back soon for some more romantic time , Matthew was an awesome and responsive host

Hidden Gem in Yucca Valley

In one sentence, Ventana Cove is absolutely amazing and stunning in every aspect. While the house is truly situated in a wild desert setting, arriving there should be no issue even after sunset as there is only about 0.5 miles of unpaved road to it. I still recommend driving with caution once you are off the paved. One of the things I personally enjoyed the most is the unique, modern architecture of the house which seamlessly presents an outdoor dining area adjacent to all three bedrooms as well as the kitchen. You will presumably spend the most time there especially at night as there is a hot tub now with a gigantic 75" TCL Roku TV mounted on the wall. Make sure to read the house guide thoroughly prior to your trip to maximize the use of what the house has to offer; you do not want to miss any of those. For some reason, the place felt a bit smaller than it looks from the pictures, but it was supplied with enough bedrooms and great amenities to easily accommodate a large-sized group without inconvenience. Last but not least, Matthew is a top-notch host who had made himself highly available and easy to communicate with at all times during our stay. In my opinion, Ventana Cove is already close to perfection; however, I would not be surprised to see further improvements or added features by Matthew in the future. The experience is worth every penny, and I will definitely take my family there again as an opportunity arises.

Beautiful property

Our group of 4 adults and 4 tween/teens had a great time. The ping pong, hottub, and outdoor areas were perfect for relaxation at sunset. The beds were very comfortable. The 3rd bedroom was perfect for 2- squeezing in the other 2 was a stretch but glad we did it.

Magical Experience!

Quite possibly, one of the most relaxing, laid-back, comfortable experiences I have ever had with VRBO. Nick, the owner, was pleasant and accessible every step through the process. We even had a good laugh over confusion I had with the bedroom door locks (lol). And, the house just speaks for itself. Gorgeous! Exactly as you see it in the photos--elegantly decorated, modern, and impeccably clean. The beds are very comfortable--even the Murphy bed. Blankets everywhere which were so convenient when star gazing at night. Wonderfully stocked kitchen, good water pressure, lovely fire pit, comfy hammocks, etc. My favorite features are the accordion window in the kitchen that opens up to the center patio (for morning coffee and Happy Hour), the swing chair next to the cowboy tub (read a whole book in it), and of course, the terrific jacuzzi. Someone comes to service it TWICE weekly, giving us confidence that everything was super clean. This was truly the perfect house to spend time in while absorbing the rustic beauty of the desert and decompressing from hectic city life. My small group enjoyed ourselves so much, I already booked another stay over a long weekend. Thanks again, Nick, for hosting us!
