"This house is so much bigger than we expected and was perfect for a quick weekend with my adult kids. From the provided yoga mats and coffee, to the easy walk into town for coffee, food and shops, this was the perfect stay! The plants in every room and beautiful yard with a hot tub and fire pit are just the cherry on the top. We will be staying here again!"

"Tried to contact host 4 times leading up to our stay. No response. We never received a response or access to the home. VRBO advised me they were cancelling our stay 1 hour after we were supposed to check in. Our last resort was a below average hotel. Don’t take your chances on this one"

"I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!"

"We visited the Green Plains Cabin for a four-day weekend in mid-June. The cabin was adorable, with a storybook old-world Swedish theme. The main level had a comfy sitting area, a small kitchen, and a half-bath. The bedroom upstairs seemed to have a queen-size bed (we didn't stay up there), and the basement had a king-sized bed and a full bath. Our host, Sarah, was lovely to work with and responded to our questions promptly. I would definitely recommend a visit."

"We were in town for a graduation. Great property for gathering with old friends and family. Convenient and very comfortable. Spotless and well stocked with necessities. We enjoyed the front porch, fire pit, card table, large dining table and very comfortable family room recliners. The off street parking was a bonus! Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. "Paschal was very nice and professional and I didn’t have to wait a long time for a response. The house satisfied all of our basic needs and I liked that it had a very long driveway because we were there to visit our family and we had plenty of room for them to park in the driveway because there was no parking on the streets.
