"I was blown away by how nice Table Rock Resort was when we arrived. We stayed in a riverside room and it was much nicer than I imagined based on the pictures online. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had with our rental car. The location is aout 15 minutes from downtown San Ignacio but feels very remote. We heard Howler monkeys on most nights and got to see a lot of hummingbirds and a toucan while eating breakfast. I highly recommend...

"Como su nombre lo dice, es un hotel de montaña. Si les gusta la naturaleza, este hotel es para ustedes. Puede que encuentren animales en los senderos durante su estadía. Es como a 4 minutos del desvío, en calle de tierra. Se wncuentra prácticamente en medio de ambas ciudades, Santa Elena y San Ignacio, como a 25 minutos de la frontera y"

"Lo escogimos quedaba en el camino de nuestra ruta. No contábamos que había que caminar con maletas hacia las habitaciones, fue muy incómodo caliente. Para moverte al centro debes de pagar taxi, ya que no tiene opciones para comer a distancia de caminar. Cuándo hicimos el chequeo se acordó que nos a las 8:30 de la mañana y aún cuando llamamos eso nunca pasó, tuvimos que salir a buscar desayuno. En la noche se disculparon pero ya era tarde. No volvería. Para hospedarse y salir temprano...

You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season). "Monkey Falls was set in a lovely location right in the jungle. It was quiet and relaxing. We were shown around Rod’s farm which was very interesting. The kitchen makes lovely home made food, including breakfast, which we ate every day. Tours can easily be booked from there and they will pick you up. It’s a short taxi ride from town. All in all a nice place to stay if you want to relax and you like jungle and wildlife."
