Great location close to Cristo Rey and our favorite restaurant in Cayo, Carm’s Home Cooling!!!! Excellent stay in the jungle. The real feel of inland Belize.

Our stay was really lovely. Rose and the other ladies made us delicious breakfast and dinner - the best that we had in Belize. The property was comfortable and conveniently located. It felt very safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful property and cabin! Very quiet and relaxing and the food was amazing! Rod and Lori were very accommodating and so nice. I can't wait to go back there. Highly recommended!

Wow! We loved this place. My two girls and I instantly relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the screened patio with hammocks many times. We loved listening to the wind and wildlife. Rooms were very clean and kitchen was well stopped. We had a delicious homemade dinner our first night here and the staff are so helpful and sweet. They even have laundry and the grounds are gorgeous too. If you plan to venture about, I would recommend getting a car because it’s a little bit outside of San Ignacio but the solitude and beauty are worth it!

If you are coming to San Ignacio, this is the place to stay! I cannot recommend this place enough and will 100% be staying here again when I come back. Great location, food, accommodations, safety, and vibes. Rose and her family are amazing, and she is an incredible chef. She made us all different meal throughout our time and even made breakfast to go on the day we were leaving early for a tour of the ATM caves! Better than any bigger resort or hotel around the area, it felt like we were the only guests there! Such an amazing and special time spent here.

The cabins are nice and private, very clean, and very nicely decorated. The site is beautifully landscaped and gives you the feel that you are in the jungle. The family that runs this place is amazingly friendly and helpful. Make sure to have some of their cooking in the Hummingbird Kitchen!!

It was a beautiful and serene location The staff/owners were amazingly friendly and helpful. We received a tour of the properties Orchard which was fantastic. We had a firepit and a BBQ at a disposal. I would highly recommend this location

I would describe this as more of a glamping experience. The room is a large, open space with multiple beds and a kitchen, plus a separate bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no closet, shelving, or luggage rack, so you have to live out of your suitcase on the floor. The screened-in porch with hammocks was wonderful. However, the staff was not very helpful when we asked about walking trails or how to get to Monkey Falls. We were given vague directions and did not feel particularly welcome. The beds were absolutely horrible, and the pillows were flat as pancakes. All of our backs were hurting so badly that we decided to leave early. The on-site restaurant was convenient and offered a private dining experience, but the food was hit or miss. One day it was good but the next day it was disappointing. While the porch was a highlight, the uncomfortable beds, lack of storage, and unhelpful service made our overall experience disappointing.

This is such a beautiful property that really immerses you in the nature of San Ignacio. Rose cooked fresh breakfast everyday that was absolutely delicious, and her and her husband were super kind. I also rented a car from Rod, who was also super nice, so I had such a smooth experience getting from place to place. It’s a little far from town but well worth the peace, and with a rental car it’s honestly a no-brainer. I can’t thank Rose, her husband, and Rod enough for an amazing time when I was feeling very nervous on my first solo trip as a woman. I felt very taken care of :)

I would definitely come back to this place again as the perfect jumping off point for a trip into mountain pine ridge ... the staff was friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious and made to order ... 3 thumbs up

We stopped in for one night and absolutely loved this place. It's a not far from shopping and dining, and the owners were great. Would recommend to anyone wanting quite stay not far from town. We will absolutely be visiting the cabins at monkey fall again!

Awesome cabins

The cabins are perfect just a few minutes drive outside of San Ignacio but feels like in the middle of nowhere. Rose and Rod are awesome hosts helping with booking of last minute tours and any info we needed. The grounds around the cabin are perfect. Thanks for a great stay

We stayed at their family villa. The house was clean, and it was a wonderful experience. Rose and her son Rodale were so kind and helpful. Rod showed us around the family land and the farm, and we drank fresh coconut water. We ate local foods prepared in a lovely setting on the property. We hope to be back some day. If you come, don't miss the ATM cave tour - amazing adventure!

Amazing little get away hidden in the rainforest near charming little town cristo rey! The cabins are clean and cozy and the staff were friendly and very helpful. If you’re looking for a spot off the beaten path while in San Ignacio you will love it!!!

The entire experience from making the reservation, to checking out, was seamless and couldn't have been easier. The cabin was spotless, spacious and well furnished. The screened porch was perfect! The kitchen was beyond our needs, but very nice. A great home base for checking out the various attractions in the area.
