On arrival we found a piece of feces in the toilet bowl. It took SEVERAL pumps to get body wash, conditioner and shampoo out of the containers in the shower. Unreliable and spotty Wi-Fi. Over-priced. Will not return here, never refer family or friends and will not use Vacasa again.

Small and Quarky property. Perfect for A Bestie's Trip. Back yard and home were cute. My only real concern with this property is the "Door lock" on the Deck room....A light kick would defeat that pin lock easily as the handle lock is Toasted. Please consider changing that for safety reasons. Would Recommend

Nice, quiet stay

The property is small, but just the right size for the four of us with our dog. The home is older, but had everything we needed. It was nice to enjoy the firepit and the hot tub in the evening under the stars. The walk to the beach is a bit longer than advertised. It took about 10 minutes. This is a nice place and location for a relaxing time away.

Great for a weekend trip

Cute little down to earth property. It's kind of worn down but not in a way that really bothers you. You can technically walk to the beach although you have to walk down the highway and it did not feel safe. It's an adorable town super cool Crystal shop a lot of fun little things to do. Probably would stay here again.

Cute little beach house. House was clean and hot tub was nice. Only complaint is the beds, mainly the one in the room near the hot tub. Felt like an old matress someone found on craigslist or something. Worst sleep ive had in awhile. You need the hot tub to help your body after trying to sleep on that bed.

Birthday getaway

The key code to enter the home was inaccurate and it took a little while to get the correct one, but eventually we got in. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay.

Hot tub was gross

Everything was fine except the hot tub. We tried to use it on the first night and immediately after getting in, my wife and I felt slimy. We checked it out in the day time and saw that it was not clean. My wife has pictures of it. I messaged Vacasa and they told me they were reaching out to the local manager, no one ever replied. I tried reaching out again and received no response. We couldn’t call anyone since we did not have service at the house.

What a scam! Absolutely horrible experience!

Let’s begin with the fact that we have never experienced this situation with VRBO or Vacasa in the past. We have had wonderful times, and have rented over 15 houses for family occasions and just to get away for my husband and myself. This time the house smelled horrible, the house is nowhere near the beach or town as advertised on VRBO. The photos are not updated, for the “seclusion” noted in prior reviews is no longer there. There are houses on all sides of the house and the neighborhood was very sketchy! We couldn’t possibly stay there, and I contacted the owner, VRBO and Vacasa immediately after we left. After waiting for a long time for a definitive response I finally was told that the owner would not be reimbursing us at all. This is a total scam!!!!!! Get people to rent the property without seeing or being told the truth is not possible with this owner. Wondering how many times this has occurred with other renters. They are taking the money probably hoping that the renter will not stay and because the refund is no longer returnable, you have no recourse. And they keep your money. With us, it was over $700! Maybe they should have a clause in the agreement that after someone says they can’t possibly stay there due to the conditions of the house, the owner should fully refund the funds paid for the entire stay! You will be disappointed if you rent this house! Undeniably the worst experience we have ever had.

Great place to stay near Yachats

This was a perfect place for me and my best friend and our two pooches to stay for the weekend. Check in was easy and contactless which I love. The WiFi network listed at the property and in the instructions did not appear on the WiFi networks on our devices but there was an open network that worked. I didn't love being connected to an open network but it wasn't a big deal, we only used it for streaming. Very close to downtown Yachats, the water, ideal location for our trip. The yard is fully fenced which was so nice for our pooches. We didn't use the hot tub during our stay but it looked very nice. The property is older but clean and well maintained.

Wonderful Stay

The trip was awesome. The house was so clean. We loved it. It was right outside of town but so secluded. It felt like a cabin. The only thing was the light in the bathroom. The cover was hanging. We took pics to show we didnt do it. Overall, it was clean, welcoming, quiet and clean. We will book again for sure. 😊

President's Day Weekend

Upon arriving the house was spotless. Whoever did the cleaning did an awesome job. The hot tub was a relaxing way to end the day. Lots of hiking and outdoor options just a short drive away. Only complaint was lack of hot water in bathroom sink.

I’ve been waiting to put off this review thinking Vacasa would do right by their renters. They did not. My partner and I were looking forward to a 2 day vacation at the beach. We rented this place for the hot tub very specifically on November 17-19, 2022. Our problem was apparent as soon as we arrived. The home was not preheated for guests. It was 40 degrees inside and it takes a long time to warm a whole house up to 70 degrees which is what my partner is comfortable vacationing in. We went to dinner, hoping it would warm while we were gone. It did not. We thought, “Well at least there’s a hot tub. Let’s use that.” The hot tub was LOCKED. No lock code was supplied and so we contacted Vacasa. Because my partner is often more cold, she had brought a heated blanket with her, our saving grace as we were already wearing jackets inside. By the time we were supplied a hot tub code we were already turning into bed for the night. The house had heater, oven, and bedroom wall heater on and we weren’t warm until about 2 AM. It really just killed our mood the first night there. Our second night was lovely since we had the house heated and the code for the hot tub. But this brings me to the customer service aspect. I requested a refund for only the first night as I would have simply stayed home if I knew we were going to be that cold and without a hot tub. The total of the 2-night stay was nearly $600 so realistically, I was requesting about $250 back. I got passed around to multiple customer service representatives for over a month. In the past week I finally spoke with Jeff, a supervisor for Vacasa, who said he was going to advocate for me. This was my 5th or more phone call I had made to the customer service line, already investing hours of my time just to get a refund on one night. Jeff supplied me the final decision today, that after everything, including all the time I spent advocating for a single night refund, they’d be providing me a $112 check. $112 after being charged nearly $600 for 2 nights. $112 after I spent approximately 4 hours of my own time talking with customer service over and over and being ignored. What a nightmare for customer service reasons. So just know, if anything ever goes wrong at your stay they will not care about you. They will not care at all. If everything goes great, you’ll enjoy your time but if you need customer service, don’t count on being helped or compensated.

Cozy cabin!

We loved staying at this cozy cabin with hot tub! The heat was turned on (the outdoor lights were all off, so it was hard to see to unlock the door) when we arrived, and we really enjoyed the open living/dining/kitchen area. We brought board games and never turned on the TV! It felt so good to warm up in the hot tub after exploring the beaches and watching storm waves.

Hot tub and BBQ didn't work! Noisy neighbors!

We gave this place a poor rating. The hot tub was broken, just basically worn out. The control panel was broken. A good portion of the jets were missing. The pump would not prime, so the jets wouldn't work anyway. The water was dirty. The lights were burned out. We tried to use the BBQ, it lit ok, but after 45 minutes of cooking the meat was still raw and cold. We had to use the kitchen to finish the meal. The beds were terrible. They were so hard and uncomfortable that we didn't get a good night's sleep the entire stay. The house was ok. A bunch of daddy long leg spiders were on the bathroom ceiling. The neighbors were noisy. Chain saws were loud every day we were there, from 7am to 6pm daily. The guy kept driving tractors and equipment up and down the road. It was excessively noisy. I will not use Vacasa again. We are not wealthy people, and you would think that after spending $2000 for a weeks vacation rental, that you would at least get a place that was comfortable and quiet. And a hot tub and BBQ that functions properly. 😞

An adequate getaway that could use improvements

We did not have heat in our first night of stay in one of the bedrooms which was fixed by the local property manager the next day. The hottub looks nicer in the pictures than reality and it is really for one adult instead of two. The location is nice, the amenities were well covered but I think the posted price needs to come down.
