Beach-Wrightsville Trip

We loved it. Steps away from the beach and convenient to coffee shops and restaurants. Rental Agency was top notch and we couldn't have been happier. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Geat Stay

The house was great. The layout and location were perfect for us. We loved the second tv/seating area and overall charm of the house. It was very cozy and inviting. The pet friendly items (blankets, poop bags, etc) were a great touch. Acess to the beach was simple and historic Wilmington is a short drive away. We will definitely be back.

Great House and Location

This is the second extended stay at this house. It is clean, comfortable, and clearly the owners care a lot about it. Amazing location just off the beach path, and just a few blocks to the shops. Kitchen basics like dish soap, sponge, any cleaning products were in short supply or non-existent so bring your own. Otherwise, a great place to visit and spend time away.

Bungalow beauty!

Perfect beach bungalow! Beautifully decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Bose speakers in all the rooms and all the dishes we could ever need in the kitchen. Huge front/side porch for coffee in the mornings and a sweet little back porch for afternoon sun and cocktails! Hop, skip and a jump from everywhere you want to be at Wrightsville. Parking was excellent and we loved the outdoor shower. We will absolutely book again next year for our staycation! Loved Surf Charlotte!

Perfect Vacation House

The house is great - space enough for our family of four and our dog. Steps to the beach plus the amazing porch where you can sit and listen to the waves. Walkable to a few restaurants and bars as well as a coffee shop. Ideal location. We will definitely be going back!

Charming Accommodations & Great Location!

Nice roomy cottage. Well located and perfect for six people and a dog. A sliver of an ocean view and just steps from the beach path. Professionally decorated, clean and well stocked. Three roomy bedrooms with comfortable beds (not great pillows). Two non-private bathrooms (one redone, one not). We would definitely stay here again!

Good house. Good location. Beware excessive pet fees !

OK house with a great location. Nothing modern or fancy but a good house nonetheless. Not beach front but very close. Only complaint was the excessive pet fee. We were not aware until we were booking and unfortunately the house was our only option for our dates and the location we needed. There was a $200 pet fee PER PET! I do not recall seeing that in the listing itself. We were charged $400 for two 10 pound older, lazy dogs. I have never paid that much in pet fees and we travel often. My wife often will clean any rentals upon leaving, so we left the place spotless. So again, $400 for the pets was a bit ridiculous and was a bit greedy if you ask me. If you want to charge money upon discovering any damage from a pet that is one thing, but to charge this amount up front is crazy.

Weekend getaway we needed

The property is exactly as described. We really enjoyed the location, layout, comforts and various sitting spaces. Pleasant surprises: there's a screen that blocks the front deck stairs so dogs and children don't go down the stairs. The outdoor shower is amazing. Something I wished I packed: Hairdryer. The warm air did the trick, but it looked horrible. LOL It's one house away from the beach and walking distance to town. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend this rental.

Big dog beach house

This place was awesome for us with our big dog! The gate on the deck gave him free range to look around outside without worry of him running onto the street to visit others. The house was quite spacious and well maintained. We did have someone get locked in the master bedroom because the doorknob was broken, but we reported it and were assured it will be fixed. I’d go back! Today. I’d go back today. 😁

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE, PERFECT LOCATION! Old-School Beach Charm!

This house is beautifully decorated, from the furniture to the artwork.—just ADORABLE! We loved being able to get up each morning, have coffee on the deck and watch the sun come up over the ocean. The house was super clean and looks like some rooms were freshly painted. We barely cooked—there are great coffee shops and restaurants only a few blocks away—but the kitchen was spotless and well equipped. A GREAT coffee maker, lots of nice pots and pans, lovely plates and glasses—literally everything we could need. As awesome as the house is, the LOCATION is better. Once we arrived, we never got back into the car until we left. You can walk everywhere! I think we counted 8 steps til our toes hit the sand at the beach access, so you can leave your shoes at the house and don’t have to lug coolers and beach gear very far. We just put our chairs on the beach, and went back and forth to the house for lunch, drinks, bathroom, etc. It’s right on The Loop, 2-3 blocks from Robert’s Grocery, Tower 7 (the best Tex-Mex ever), coffee shops, etc. One of the surf shops has bikes and other stuff to rent. We will definitely do that next trip. There’s a great outdoor sofa and chairs on the covered deck. And under the deck there’s a place to rinse off sandy feet, and a cute Surfboard themed outdoor shower with hot water, which was extremely useful since sand gets everywhere! There are 2 nice sized bedrooms in the back, but we took the front bedroom. It is smaller, but is decorated beautifully and has a great vibe. Super comfy bed with snuggly duvet. And plenty of extra quilts, blankets and extra pillows in the closets. There are fans in every room which is nice. I called dibs on the front bathroom. Small but very cool! It has a river rock floor that goes all the way into the shower. The shower has a little window in it (with a blind) so you feel like you’re showering outside in the trees! And the water pressure was crazy strong—a big plus for me! Again, super clean. There are big smart TVs in every room, so we just logged on to our own Netflix and streaming tv accounts so we had our own content—really great! There were Bluetooth speakers in most rooms, too. To add to the excitement, apparently a filmmaker lives next door and was FILMING A MOVIE on the beach in front of the house! They said I t’s a Suspense film. So cool watching them filming and setting up scenes. Really exciting! We had a great time and can’t wait to come back! Hopefully soon!

AMAZING Property!

My husband and I stayed at this house for a mini “honeymoon”. We said “we need to come back here!” several times during our stay. It’s a super close walk to the beach (maybe 10 steps to beach access), has an enormous patio, and the house is beautifully decorated. Also within walking distance of some good restaurants and only a few miles from a Harris Teeter. There were a few minor cleanliness things that we noticed, but nothing alarming— the property overall was very clean and well kept!
