"I booked a property through Expedia for six guests to visit Sesame Place. Upon arriving around 7:50 PM, the host told us the property was already occupied. We wasted an hour driving back and forth, plus a six-hour round-trip drive home, and lost our entire second day at the park. I’m requesting a full refund and additional compensation for the stress, wasted time, and ruined plans for our group. "

That said, there were two issues: 1) The property has no central heating and the space heaters are not able to keep up with the cold weather (probably would be fine if it were 60 degrees outside), 2) more importantly, there was enough hot water for 1 person to take a 5 minute shower (and no heater in the bathroom). "Clean, but there were other issues and expectations that were not met. No hot water was the second issue that we dealt with. Host would not pick up phone, did not answer text of voice messages until we spoke directly to VRBO. At the end, not what we preferred, but had to leave premises because the issue was not attempted to get resolved. About 9:30 that night, the 8 guest had to find somewhere to stay."

"The host was very responsive. The home was clean and well maintained. We had some issues with the heat and hot water, but the host was responsive regarding our concern.
