Cool stay

Cool stay in a cute suburb type neighborhood, local shopping is nearby. Didn’t realize it was so far from the city but that’s ok. Nice and private, spacious apartment style. Only suggestion would be a better shower head. Overall a great stay!

Wonderful stay in West Oak Lane/Mt. Airy

The location of this property was perfect for my family and I while visiting family 5 minutes away! Having grown up in Philly, it felt like home! Quiet, walkable and felt safe! Rae is an excellent and very responsive host providing affordable, CLEAN and comfortable accommodations. We will be back!!

Clean place in a convenient location.

Check in and communication was smooth. Be aware that there are dogs that live in the unit below, though they were mostly quiet. A couple of the lights didn't actually work because they weren't placed close enough to an outlet, which was strange. It was also difficult to locate the AC and figure out the controls -- more detailed instructions about that would be appreciated! The mattresses were also very firm, which could be a plus or minus depending on your preference. The blackout curtains are amazing!Overall very clean and as described in the listing. We'd definitely stay again.

Pit Stop in Philadelphia

We stayed one night on our way back home from North Carolina. It was unusually warm for April and there were no air conditioners in the windows. We left them open with the ceiling fans and that was fine....until a car alarm went off multiple times overnight.

Great place in Philly suburbs

Nice second story apartment outside of Philly.Came to town for a concert at the Keswick theater and this location was a perfect spot. Not far from the theater and also close to many nice bars and restaurants it was great for access to many things.Everything was as described in the listing.Rae was in communication prior to our arrival and entering the location was easy. We did not need anything during our stay but Rae did touch base to make sure all was well, which was appreciated. Overall a nice place to stay!

Smoke smell

Pros: Communication was good with host, property pics are accurate and the place was as described. Neighborhood was fine for us, we felt safe and it was near a lot of restaurants, gas stations, etc. Street parking was easily found over the 4 days of our stay, we had at most a short ( 1 minute) walk to the property and could see our rental car from the window.Cons: Immediately upon opening the door we smelled smoke. At some point a smoker was in the unit and smoked enough to permeate the entire unit with a smoke smell which, understandably, is hard to get rid of. But it was clearly noticable every time we entered the unit. We mostly got used it but it is always there. We found the couch/sectional unit very uncomfortable but that is subjective.Other stuff: the mattresses are firmish foam. We slept OK on them. The coffee maker is more of a filter system, but instructions were included so it was OK. The kitchen has a small elevated table with very small stools that we did not like very much.Overall I would give the unit 3-4 stars except for the smoke smell which dropped it down to a 2 for us.

Cute & Convenient

We enjoyed this very comfortable & cute apartment. The bedscwere very comfortable.It was clean & quiet. It was convenient to where we planned to go-Philadelphia Zoo, Mann Center, Horsham to visit family. We never had a parking issue. We recommend to anyone looking for easy access to city or surrounding areas.

Quick trip to Philly

My mom and I came to visit my daughter. The 2 bedroom apartment was ideal for us. It was as described in the listing. The neighborhood was fine. Just don’t go south. Parking was decent. Would stay here again, as the price was great!
