"Cottage was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. Secure outdoor area if your taking your dog."

Not a fault of the host of course but needed to leave the property during the day as couldn’t hear yourself think when workers working. "

"The house itself was loveley. Very clean and comfortable, and within a short walking distance of Windermere town centre. Ample parking for two cars. However, the house is located in a rather run down area of the town, next to a park where youths gathered in the evening. "We have the most wonderful stay for our family over three nights at the Firs. We came from all over the world and check in was very smooth. Location was perfect, so close to everything! Place was spotless and clean but still so welcoming. We had everything we needed for our stay for both the adults and kids. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Lake District."

"The unit was centrally located and in easy walking distance to the Lake and Windermere. The unit had three bedrooms and two bathrooms which was very convenient for our party of three."
