Star House is the star of our second stay there within a few years. It is everything we could ask for in a Wimberley rental. It's beautiful, easy to access from the street, very private, and a lot of space to enjoy the feeling of being in the country and out of the big city for several days. It was a wonderful recharge! Brian Jones was our host and he was very nice and easy to communicate with whenever we had a question.

Lovely home, beautiful views and very peaceful. We stayed over a weekend for a family bday party in the area. 2 adult couples, each had our own bedroom and bathrooms which was great, beautiful kitchen and living room. Really enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck outside. Check in was easy and the owner always checked to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would definitely stay here again!

30th Birthday Stay

A group of friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway for a 30th birthday. It's super close to town and to Blue Hole, but still secluded enough to where you're not surrounded by others. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night, enjoying the breeze and looking at the sky. If you're looking for a quiet place still within proximity of things to do, this is a great option.

We have stayed at Star House in the hill country 3 times. Always a relaxing time with the beautiful cabin home and the wrap around porches with stunning hill country views. The owner provides all the needed amenities to make the stay perfect. We will be back.

Stunning, clean and peaceful.

This house is beautiful, comfortable and super clean. The balconies offer retreats for everyone. Cozy blankets if it is chilly and comfortable seating everywhere. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and there are puzzles and games to be found in the beautiful bench. Our bed felt like a hammock and I slept like a log which is rare for me. Can’t say enough good things. Close to activities and far enough away to just rest and break away from crazy.

The Star

Property is as seen in the property description. The location is not what we expected. It is remote but when outside there is traffic noise from the highway and the view includes a couple of mobile homes. But it worked well for us as we were really just there for the sleeping arrangements and were out of the house during the day.
