"We were in Wimberley for the weekend to visit our daughter so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the location. It’s not fancy but the bed was good, bathroom was nice size (walk-in shower, no tub, but we were fine with that), air conditioner was maybe a little loud but it worked. Small kitchen but all we used was the mini fridge and sink. Finding the drive to the cottage was a little tricky and the link sent was helpful. Gates are necessary in Texas so just be aware that there is an open/close...

"A well designed house for families. Easy walk to river. Wonderful porch and pool arrangement with good fence and gates for the littles. Only one small issue was, the washroom ice maker did not dispense ice. All else was excellent! We would recommend this property to our friends."

"We loved this place! Clean and comfortable. We loved the connivence to town with the feel of being in the middle of the woods. We saw tons of wildlife. Everyday we saw 2 gray foxes pass through the backyard. There are hummingbirds and deer all around and the view was amazing. There is an empty lot next door and thick woods beyond that. There is another home on one side but it appeared to be vacant during our entire week stay. Across the river is a ranch where we could see goats pass through...

"We traveled in from Houston for a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater. This property was perfect for just the two of us. Peaceful and quiet, very clean and so cute! Gregory and Jennifer were wonderful at communicating with us, and we plan on going again soon!"

The downside...the spiral staircase to the 2nd bedroom and the "game room" area with the twin beds. It made getting luggage upsairs difficult. We definitely enjoyed our stay though"
