Very secluded, quiet home on gated property with 4 or 5 other homes that you can't see from the home because they are spaced far apart and because of the rolling terrain.. Nice wrap around deck with hot tub and hill country views. Did not see one vehicle or person the whole time we were there.. No distant highway noises. Very Quiet! Home was very clean and in good shape. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. There is drip a coffee maker and Keurig K cup maker. Microwave in pantry. We were already planning on a return trip while there because it rained for most of the day for Wimberly Market Days.

Perfect size house for mw wife and I. The private gated driveway and elevated view helped my wife relax setting the mood for intimacy. The view, long porch and hot tub were a great combination, so much so that we didn’t leave the property much as we originally planned. The only thing not to our preference, the bed mattress was a little stiff. We would definitely go back, but would bring a pillow top mattress cover. Scored a lot of points with the wife. 5 stars

My husband and I visited this home for our anniversary. It was very clean, peaceful and close to town. The hot tub was a plus and the view from the back porch is beautiful! Only drawback was the bed was a little too firm, but the pillows were great!

Beautiful views, very nice property. Well stocked kitchen and really enjoyed the wrap around porch with hot tub and bbq grill. Close enough to town yet an isolated country feel. We look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful, secluded spot perfect for a romantic getaway. Host responded to all questions. Very close to the square (about 8 min). The only thing we would change is the checkout time. Possibly push it an hour later.

The stay was great. House was clean and the hot tub was amazing. Directions were a little unclear and the house has been painted since the photo on the website so we had a little difficulty finding the place but we were very happy with our stay.

Five stars for several reasons. The view when we arrived was beautiful, the picture do NOT do this house justice. There are so many photo opportunities (including a vibrant door that was not pictured!!) there was a comment about it being in someone back yard and I could barely see the top of the other house from the entrance of this one. I couldn’t find if there was a single cup or a pot coffee maker( super easy to communicate with and they had both anyway) my favorite a body mirror. This sounds crazy but being that there is a hot tub this is essential and I’ve been in BEACH HOUSES without them… great stay, will come back!

Exceptional place! Gorgeous views, hot tub was clean & didn’t smell of strong chlorine Beds were very comfortable, soft sheets & plenty of blankets. Host was VERY nice & responsive. I liked the added security of a gate with a code. The road up to the house is very narrow but the few neighbors we encountered were very nice & accommodating the two times we met someone on the road. I will say another rocking chair would be nice outside but that will not detour us from staying here again! In fact we’re planning a trip back in May for our birthday’s if the home is available. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent as the mosquitoes are horrible before sunrise & at dark as usual for a place being close to a river. We had thermocell’s & were not really bothered by them. The sunrises are amazing at this place The Blue Hole, Wimberly Square & Jacob’s Well are all within a 12-15 minute drive from the house which was perfect for us as we drove 6 hrs to get to the house & we didn’t want to be in the road for a long time getting to a destination we wanted to see. I really can’t say enough good things about the place! We will be back for sure!!!

Weekend Get-a-way

The view was BEAUTIFUL! The property was peaceful, and the home had all the amenities needed. We enjoyed our stay very much. We spent most of the day in town but were able to retreat to total quiet and serenity.
