We loved the house. Access to the river, the pool, and the pavilion provided many entertainment opportunities. The house had all the supplies needed to make the trip easy. Other than food, we didn't need to bring anything. The host was communicative and available to address any issues (we didn't have any). I would highly recommend, and we will be returning in the future.

We had the best family get together at this Wimberley home. The 5 bedrooms were perfect. We cooked most of our meals, and we had everything we needed in this well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing in and around the pool. There had been rain so that we could not explore the river as it was a little high, but we did play games on the basketball court. We will definitely rent this home again.
We were greeted with a beautiful sunset on our first night!

Rainy but a great time!

We had such a nice time. It rained the most of the week but we were very comfortable in the house. It’s super clean and has all of the amenities you could want. Robert was very easy to get ahold of and very helpful. We were very pleased!

Hill Country Paradise

This is a truly exceptional Hill Country retreat. Located on a lovely section of the Blanco River, with all the amenities you could hope to find. Outdoors, we enjoyed the large pool and hot tub, lighted pergola with seating near a fire pit for s'mores and corn hole or basketball for recreation after a swim in the river or pool. The house is stunning - large open living spaces and kitchen that is equipped for cooking and serving large groups. Anything we needed for meal prep was within easy reach. Outside the living area is a covered outdoor porch that surrounds is open from two sides with lots of seating for conversations and outdoor dining space. There is also a small den tucked away for a quiet space we used as a playroom for our youngest. The bedrooms and adjoining baths are spacious and well-appointed with large windows and beautiful views of the property. Lots of towels for the pool as well as large towels for the baths. The host had clearly anticipated any needs we might have during our stay, as we never went looking for something. He was also quick to respond to any messages I sent. Kudos for labeling all the lighting and providing clear instructions for check-out, which was quite simple. We will definitely return to this relaxing paradise in the Hill Country. Thank you, Roby, for an exceptional experience!

Hill County Family Getaway

Each summer our family of twelve takes a trip, and this was one of the best. Between the house, porch, pool, pavilion and the river, we never really needed to leave to find entertainment. Swimming, fishing and corn hole were big players! We cooked dinner each evening and found the kitchen very well stocked. H-E-B is ten minutes away so grocery shopping was easy. Sleeping accommodations worked perfectly for us. Grandmother stayed in the downstairs bonus room. Each of the three couples had their own room and the teens and children shared the bedroom with three beds. This house definitely lived up to the hype. What a great place! Thank you, Roby.

The most beautiful place I have stayed!

I friend and I got together to celebrate two Sister's of St Benedict celebrating their 75 th Birthday's . We planned this trip for over a year. I flew in from MN - my friend lives in Wimberly. We came a few days to prepare for their arrival. When we walked in we were amazed at the beautiful pool, spa hot tub. The landscaping was amazing . We played corn ball and “HORSE” in basketball. We walked all on the property. We lite fires in the fireplace,listening to music over their” SONUS” Sytem.Saw a full rainbow on our last night. Had an issue with the propane grill- but Mike came over right away and educated me on it.Thank you so much Robert and wife for opening up your home to us.

Highly recommend!!! Roby was excellent in terms of communication and responsiveness. The house was exceptional - clean, spacious, and had every amenity we could have possibly needed. Wonderful Weekend on the Blanco

We loved our recent weekend in Wimberley and Roby’s was everything we needed. We were a group of eight with ages ranging from 9 to 50. The kitchen was perfect and made even better with its gorgeous view. The big TV was just what the guys needed to watch football. The river access was perfect for fly fishing and lounging. So many memories were made and we look forward to doing it again!

Wonderful house on the river!

Had a great stay! the house is very large, has toys and games for kids, has pool equipment, the spa was wonderful to use and heat up when the sun went down. Rooms are large with lots of beds and baths. Every room has an en-suite. The kitchen is well stocked although the oven is dated and makes a loud noise when it is heating. Two fridges so lots of space to keep your beverages cold. OVerall had a great stay and would absolutely come back again! We have stayed at numerous places in Hill country and this is a great find.

Fabulous Family Retreat

Everything about the house and the property was exactly as advertised! This home had it all! Spacious rooms to host our family of 11 (7 adults & 4 children), a large swimming pool, basketball court, fire pit, Blanco River frontage with deep water, huge dining table, well stocked kitchen with every item we needed! Roby's communication was excellent, and he replied immediately to any questions we had before and during our stay. We cannot say enough great things about this home. We will definitely return!

Luxury Home, Pool, River - WOW

This luxury home had it all! Spacious rooms to host our four families (total of 13 guests); large swimming pool for fun games; sport court for pickleball (we brought a pickleball set); Blanco River frontage with deep water; huge dining table for meals and games; separate den area for the younger guests; every kitchen item we needed; three coffee pots; full size toiletries and plenty of toilet tissue! I cannot say enough great things about this home. We are definitely returning!

The Retreat on the Blanco

10 acres meant total privacy. A guy came to clean the pool and was the only person we saw. 7 year old LOVED the River, catching minnows and frogs. Then it was the large pool. Nearness to Wimberley was great. HEB for groceries and lots of BBQ to choose. Thanks to Robby for making suggestions. Our son organized a great corn hole competition for grownups and picked the 7 year old to be the judge, so she was involved. Plenty of facilities for cooking, inside and outside. For guests who desire solitude, this is an easy choice.

Amazing place like no where else

This place is amazing. Me and my extended family come to this house every year! We love it so much! The property is beautiful, the landscape is breathtaking and we see deer running around every morning. The gourmet kitchen is fabulous, outdoor covered patio is huge and there several areas to hang out without the sun! Outdoor grill is so nice and plenty of room for everybody. We all love going to the river and hanging out on the big rocks enjoying nature! Such a special place and we are never disappointed. The owner always checks on us and is very accommodating and if there is ever an issue , he takes care of it in a flash! This place is so special to my family. It is a yearly trip we talk about all year! Love it!!
