Family weekend

Great place for our family to enjoy together! Plenty of space inside, so clean and well supplied for our comfort. The back porch swing and lovely yard and the river were so enjoyable!

Great House!!

We loved our stay here. The only suggestion I have is to have the AC turned on before the guests arrive. When we showed up to the house it was 89 degrees inside and took all evening to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Other than that, the place was fantastic. We loved our weekend.

2 bedrooms had old window units a/c that were noisy, could not use the bedrooms. House was tired and outdated.

The kids had so much fun in the yard, fishing in the Blanco river and getting lost in the big house. We cook a fair bit and the kitchen had all the pots and pans and utensils you can imagine. So much fun

Lots of space in a beautiful setting

We loved all the places to gather, in small groups and large. The bedrooms are all distinct, comfy suites. Outside, the spacious lawn slopes down to the Blanco, a lovely place to watch the sunset!

Couples Retreat

This was our second time staying at this house for our couples Valentine's retreat, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The location is beautiful, the home has tons of space, and it's always stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host is incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, which makes the whole experience even better. We're already looking forward to staying here many more times in the future!

Wimberley Winter Fun

We enjoyed our stay. The house is close to everything and provided the perfect backdrop for our trip. The views of the Blanco River from the house are amazing. We look forward to going back when the weather is warmer.

Fantastic property!

Our family and friends loved this property for our river vacation! The house is very spacious but the best part is the yard and river frontage/access! Nice, large shaded yard and you step into the river into deeper water that the kids loved. We had a blast!

Great location out in the country!!

A bunch of happy city slickers, a few outdoorsy people and 4 kids: was a great place to stay for us, pity that we could only do a weekend because of schedules and travel. Great communication from the property managers, they did the best they could. Highly recommended for a family gathering of 10 or more...

Love this place! Online photos do not do justice. Better than we imagined. All bedrooms/bathrooms were far apart where no one else disturbed each other. Quiet outside as well. Water is crystal clear. Really close to town. Can't wait to come back. Communication was great with Vacay.

Lovely location, but...

The back yard is amazing with the river running by. The house is very large and the beds were comfortable. The house was an older house which I dont mind. What I did mind was the musty smell in the house, the water stinking of sulphur, a dirty hot tub that didntvwork, lught bulbs out

Deep Water on the Bianco home

We loved our stay at the Deep Water home on the Nlanco! The home was clean and spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating for dining and visiting. We went for a swim in the Blanco River, which was right out our back door, and also enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. We actually enjoyed being a bit out of the busyness of downtown, yet it was quick and easy to get there. The Vacay staff was very helpful with a couple of questions we had at check-in, and they called to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again if we're back in Wimberly!

Beautiful setting, plenty of space

My family of 12 spent a relaxing weekend here. The location and backyard right on the river are amazing. One caveat-- the house about 40-50 feet above the river, which means there are multiple steps and a slope down to the river's edge, which isn't a problem for most, but quite difficult for others. The house layout is a little confusing, but once learned, the spaces are all large and very accommodating for a number such as ours. We truly enjoyed our time here.

2026 TX STATE GRADUATION

Graduation was early 10:AM on Friday 5/9/25. So my family was coming from all over Texas & we met @ the Deep Water house on the river night before. When all arrived it was wonderful to have our own bedroom & bathroom to go to. After staying in San Marcos most all day it was wonderful to just chill out on the porch or running down to explore the river.We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay at that beautiful old large home!!
