The house and location were nice, but I was disappointed that we never got any drinking water there. I sent a message to the Property Manager, they responded that the "team" would respond. Never got any drinking water.

Cute house on a gorgeous property. Love that it was dog friendly. Unfortunately, the hot tub did not work, and that was the sole reason we booked that location. The filtered water dispenser was empty, busted blinds in the kitchen, and a moldy disgusting bath mat in the shower. I tried to get in contact with the property managers before leaving a review, and was not contacted.

Comfortable, private, quiet, peaceful. A wonderful place to relax. Property was as described. Everything worked, appliances, heating and cooling, entertainment devices, hot tub. It was a great getaway. Highly recommended!

Instructions for using front door keypad were wrong. Took me several attempts to gain entry. Several phone calls requesting assistance were not acted on. Worn carpets caused slipping on hardwood floors. Hot tub not fit for use. Water contained particles of something that appeared to be fiberglass particles from side of hot tub.

The internet worked great for our needs which we appreciated. The house has many places that you have a lift or a step up that you need to be aware of like to get to the bathroom at night. They do provide nightlights which is helpful but I still managed to stub a couple of toes. You are dealing with a management company so you do not get the personal feel that I like when I stay in VRBO's. The basketball goal and hot tub are a plus. We were able to take our dogs for an extra fee per a night.

Excellent property with good views and light hiking, great amenities, comfortable beds, perfect for what we needed. Only issue we had was the lock pad to the front door would jam occasionally, though we were able to enter with jiggling the knob as it unlocked. The shower could have been cleaner as well

Great property inside and out. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend. Patio area was nice in the mornings for bird and deer watching. Closeness to both downtown Wimberly and Blanco was a definite plus!!

Great location, big yard, hot tub was a nice touch , too, so relaxing! Loved seeing the wildlife( deer, fox, squirrels and birds) up close. The bed was comfortable. We utilized the outdoor grill and indoor kitchen to prepare most of our own meals... it was overall great stay.

My partner and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary at the Bungalow on the Bluff! The house was very cozy with a comfortable bed and we loved being able to directly access the porch/back yard from the bedroom. The yard was perfect for our 2 dogs to run around and explore and we made good use of the hot tub and back patio. Our favorite part of the trip was enjoying some coffee on the porch and watching the sun rise over the hills. The 15 minute drive from the house to downtown wimberley was convenient and we were still far enough out of town for some quiet and privacy. We definitely will be booking again!

We loved our stay at the bungalow. It was close enough to town but far enough away. We loved that they had a record player and records! Played music every morning while getting ready on it. It was perfect for what we needed and would stay there again.

Great Stay

My husband and adult daughter stayed for 4 days and had a great time! Great location, loved the space the property had, used the charcoal grill which was nice and enjoyed the peace and quiet! I would definitely go back!!!

Weekend getaway

The place was pretty much what it advertises. A perfect place for a secluded getaway and conveniently located to Wimberly. We rented this place because it was pet friendly but both of our dogs picked up fleas at the property. Be prepared!The only other knock on a wonderful weekend getaway was the 4pm check in time with penalties if getting there early. Traveling a long distance to get there and having to get there later than most properties allow made dinner time our first night tough. I like to grill which takes time so dinner was late first night.None of these things should deter you from a great place.

Disappointed

I wanted to reach out following our recent stay at the bungalow on the bluff. This trip was meant to be a much-needed getaway for my husband and me, along with close friends, and we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to what was advertised.One of the main reasons I chose this property was for the hot tub — which ended up being unusable. It hadn’t been cleaned, the water smelled like mildew, and there were no chlorine tablets in the floater. It clearly hadn’t been maintained in quite some time.From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the outdoor area hadn’t been taken care of — overgrown grass and weeds, old dog toys, beer cans, and bottles were scattered throughout the yard. It gave a bad first impression that unfortunately carried into the home.Inside, we found that the second bedroom had a full-sized bed, not the queen that was advertised. This created a real issue, as the couple we were traveling with could not comfortably share such a small bed. Because of this, we ultimately decided to leave early — the house just couldn’t comfortably accommodate all of us as described.On top of that, the mini split A/C units weren’t working well, and we discovered the filters were completely clogged. We cleaned them ourselves just to get the air flowing again. Other cleanliness and maintenance issues added to the overall disappointment — dirty baseboards, a grimy shower, bugs in the window sills, a torn screen, a sliding door t
