Little Getaway

The property was really nice and in close distance to downtown. My friend and I wanted to take a short getaway to relax and this place was perfect. The only complaint was having a unit above us. It’s not very clear in the description that there is a rental above. You can hear everything. I had a hard time going to sleep because of the moving around and talking upstairs. It didn’t get quiet until way after midnight. It made the stay a bit uncomfortable.

Great House

Pancho and Lefty's Retreat was such a great place to stay. It was a little outside of town which made it quite. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a hot tub to relax in at night. The owners were very responsive to all questions.The only drawback was that you cannot run the fans without the lights. We would definately stay here again!

Great stay

Good location, true to listing. Outdoor area was very nice. Nicely furnished. Only downside, very noisy upstairs neighbors. You can hear everything. Dog running back and forth, people walking, TV, and especially every time they dropped something or moved furniture.

Ok but someone lives upstairs

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary weekend. Communication with the Hill Country wasn’t great. The person I spoke with wasn’t very friendly. The interior of the home was clean. The hanging chair in the spare bedroom wasn’t hanging up. It was broken and in the closet. The master bedroom ceiling fan didn’t work. The patio area was messy. There were tall weeds growing by the door. The cornhole bags were destroyed. So we couldn’t play cornhole. There were leaves everywhere. It wasn’t an awful stay by any means. Just not very tidy or taken care of.

Beautiful Property, Needs more TLC

I was very impressed by the beauty of this property as I drove up and walked in. The rooms were well put together and decorated with care. I was surprised to find that the “cleaning crew” missed many of the areas that are typically dirtied by other occupants. The kitchen table was still dirtied with the crumbs of the previous occupants, the counters had what appeared to by syrup on them, the drawers in the master bathroom had the hair of the previous occupants and the bedsheets had the same hair in them as the bathroom drawer. I needed to request new sheets from the property manager and then was asked whether I wanted to put them on myself or if they needed me to have someone make the bed for me. For as amazing as this property was I was sorely disappointed by the haphazard and careless cleaning that was done by the crew.

Very nice place minutes from Wimberley and Jacob’s well. A lot of boutique and farmers market. Shower head pipe in first bedroom leaked a little bit witch can tighted and that same shower needs to be resealed

Beware of upstairs noises

Beautiful home, comfortable and cozy. Upstairs occupants kept us up all night (2:30am-4:30am)…could hear a dog (listing says no pets allowed), talking, laughing, music/tv and even farting!! Did not use hot tub so no review there. Otherwise good location to Wimberley. Rained a lot so there was some leaking from the ceiling over front door. Good communication with host.

Perfect little stay

It was a clean, nice place to stay and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Also it's not too far out of town...only about a 10 min drive. We wouldn't hesitate to choose this place again.

Great Getaway!

We had a girlfriend weekend and it was a wonderful stay! I'd be sure to check out the hot tub--it needed a good clean so we didn't use it--but the house itself was stellar!

Amazing

The place was beautiful, they had whatever you could possibly need. Towels, they had some, pots and pans, they had those too! The hot tub was clean! Only thing that made me the slightest bit upset was the dead spiders on the wall of the bedroom without the swing. But that’s just because of my arachnophobia. Overall amazing!

Great Location

We stayed in the bottom half of the Bohemian Rhapsody Retreat and enjoyed it with minor set backs. The kitchen has all new appliances and worked when we needed them. The living room was set up well and has a smart tv. The internet was pretty much intermittent. I highly recommend you bring a mobile hotspot if you plan to watch tv or listen to music. The bedrooms/ bathrooms were a really good size and loved the decor. The "private" patio that is partially covered off the master suite was nice as well. The BBQ pit worked really good, fire pit didn't work, but believe it was out of propane. The patio does have plenty of seating and tables. The partially covered area was nice to have when the rain came through. The reason we choose this property was because it does have a hot tub. Would definitely revisit but definitely rent out whole area to have property to ourselves. Pros. Great location Big bedrooms/ bathrooms 2 bathrooms New Appliances Washer/ Dryer on site Inside of house was clean and well kept Cons: Owner/ someone lived upstairs and you could hear them walking around. "Private" patio: Owner/ someone parked next to patio area which and they could see into area. Hot tub was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Worked great just dirty; reason why I gave a 3 star for cleanliness. Check In: Did not check into location till 4:45 due to cleaners still there. We told cleaners we would finish the laundry for them so we could check into location. Internet: Intermittent

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere

This was the perfect little spot for us to stay, plenty of parking on property, secluded hangout area, the inside was very well kept too. The only thing we wish we knew (which was not an issue during our stay) but the upstairs is separate so you don't necessarily have the place to yourself. Great location, great area to be in the center of all key destinations, would love to come back soon.

Sweet Stay

We celebrated 21 years of marriage here. Although the weather was crummy, we made the best of it!! This is a sweet little condo! I would recommend that the owners put in the description that the wifi is not the best. We lucked out and had a hot spot with us. The wifi at the house would not hold a signal on the TV at all, much less music. Other than that, super great stay!

Quiet cozy getaway

This place was perfect for being away from the city and town. It was quiet and accommodating. The beds are comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a weekend getaway. The private patio with jacuzzi was so nice to sit outside and drink wine and conversation.

Relaxing Boho Vibes!

Loved the boho vibes this entire house gave off! From in room hammock swing to all the personal touches. Great location too, just minutes from Downtown Wimberley and all it's stores. The night sky is amazing! Only down fall we had was there was only 3 beach towels for hot tub, no broom or extra kitchen towels.
