We had an issue with bugs at the place. And this is a warning to families with children with insect allergies. This is not the place for kids with allergies. Granted, that is to be expected, YOUR"E in the WOODS!!. Two members of our party left due to bug allergies so that was not good for our vacation. Place was infested with lady bugs, and some other bugs that looked like a dung beetle, wasps, other bugs I don't know the name of. This was particularly a problem with at night because you will wake up due to bugs crawling on your arms or back. We called the host and she tried to help with the issue. They sent maintenance to clean up but unfortunately, the more the maintenance cleaned up the more they bugs showed up. It seemed like maintenance wasn't making a dent in the bug clean up. Anyway we did not pay 800 a night to sleep with the bugs. I think my outrage is justified since we planned this trip for more than 4 months. Future renters be forewarned, if you don't mind sleeping with the bugs. Then this place is beautiful, the mornings are absolutely stunning as you over look the valley from the main hall.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mighty Sycamore. The owners or management company thought of everything and stocked the kitchen with coffee pods, creamer, sugar, dish soap, paper towels and more. The bathrooms had soap, shampoo and conditioner and laundry soap. This is especially important as it is about a 20 minute drive to the Dollar General and to other hot spots. The hot tub was a hit and watching the hang gliders from the porch was amazing (you could even hear them talking as they floated past). We ate most meals in due to a well appointed kitchen and open cooking area but could also have used the charcoal grill as we came prepared with charcoal and starter. If you have vert young children or elderly folks, they may struggle with the many stairs to get into the property or the "tree stump" stairs to get in each of the two bedrooms but we had no problems. Thanks for a great stay, PS- The management company is INCREDIBLY responsive.

We had a great stay here. We took our 18 month old son with us and he loved the big windows. It was great to watch the hang gliders and the sunsets were beautiful. Do be aware that the steps/logs getting into the bedrooms are a little tricky. They're stable, but you do want to have a hold on the railing. We went outside to walk up the stairs if we were holding him. Kitchen and bathrooms were good and had everything we needed for a couple days. Don't pack too much as there aren't any closets or dressers. The hot tub was perfect after a long day. We will definitely look into staying here again in the future!

Sycamore success

Nice place to stay. Overall a very good place. There was a small amount of yrash under the house on the ground coming up the stairs and a random board leaning against the house by the bsckdoor. Spider webs outside and 1 inside so may need some oest service to attend to it. Would recommend though for anyone looking fir a place.

Wonderful property. We loved all of the amenities. Extremely clean. Everything worked. Great location to enjoy the mountains, hiking, and mountain biking. Only downside is the subdivision is under construction.

Treehouse feel with cabin comfort

Our family had an amazing stay! We enjoyed the views that the large windows provided. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after hiking during the day! There are narrow stairs into each of the bedrooms but we didn’t have any issues with this and beds were comfortable. My son really liked the bunk beds in the loft area. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals with the food we picked up from nearby grocery. Overall had a great time with lots of memories made!

Beautiful

The home and view are beautiful! My son loved the slides, the hot tub was an amazing. My husband fell in love with the steam shower. We will definitely be booking again!!! Would recommend!!!

Our Georgia Adventure

Our multi-generational family visit to Georgia was enhanced by our stay at The Sycamore Treehouse. The home is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hot tub was a hit and the two slides were enjoyed by the five year old and the thirty somethings! We enjoyed the view and watching the hangliders and glider planes. Very cool.
