Unplug, unwind and reconnect with nature in this secluded off-grid retreat nestled in the rolling hills of Mt Widgee, in the Coooloola Region, just a short drive from Eumundi and the Sunshine Coast’s hinterland gems. You will start to feel the call of the land as you come closer to your destination.
Fully self-contained Timber Studio, with 3 buildings, large verandah with kitchen off to the side, separate Bath house paradise, outdoor loo with a view - all designed to maximize your connection to nature.
Wake to birdsong and golden light filtering through the trees as the sun rises. Brew your morning coffee in the cozy kitchenette, step outside onto the deck as the king parrots fly past, you now have time to notice the wallabies that watch you from behind tall standing ancient grass trees. How to spend your day in this newfound freedom, exploring nearby markets, hiking lush forest trails, or simply relaxing with a good book, with the scent of eucalyptus in the air, no sounds except those of nature, contemplating on these thoughts whispering " This is indeed rare, in these times!!

Later in the day, the different birds take make their calls & as the sun dips behind the hills, there is a quietude. Choices, soak in the outdoor bath house, mermaid themed, bubbles, magnesium, under a canopy stars or a quick shower, both inviting you to imbibe nature. Gentle solar powered lighting your way - A walk to the fire area only meters below, where the owners have prepared a lovely fire for you to light & to warm yourself while gazing into the fire, following the rising flames you look up into the heavens & wonder, "I've never seen so many stars" feeling totally wrapped in new blanket, the wonder & hush of the bush. (note there may be fire restriction conditions at certain times of the year)
With optional Wi-Fi and minimal distractions, this solar-powered sanctuary invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and savor the simple magic of being present.

Once you enter the gateway to "Vision Temple" at Serpentine Ridge, you are on 50 acres of private land. Marc & I (Milly) are your hosts, & we are always excited to meet new people & to help them enjoy their stay !! We will show you where to park your car, of course it is free, we'll take you & your baggage up to your retreat space in the buggy. You don't have to see us again until the end of your stay when we bring you back to your car with your luggage. There is a small fridge for your food & drinks, a gas stove with a kettle & toaster, a coffee infuser, tea pot, coffee & teas, UHT milk, cutlery, sharp knives for cutting, cutting board, plates, cups, glasses, saucepan, frypan, washing up liquid, dish cloths, first aid kit. There are towels & blankets in the bedroom cupboard. You will find some card games, puzzles, coloring in, reading matter, yoga mats if you like to stretch at sunrise. We do not have curtains, we have sleep masks instead so each person has choice all the way. The local Widgee shop has petrol and all your needs, including take away food, & good Pizza, a bottle shop where you can buy alcohol. The community run bar is open on Friday nights & Saturday nights, food is cooked by volunteers.
Please leave everything clean & tidy, rubbish in the bins provided, you can leave the linen on the beds & towels in the bathroom & Milly will gather it up for washing after you leave.

You can ask us to provide extra services, breakfast, washing, take you bush walking, a tour around the property, help you plant a tree, take you on a tour to local beautiful places, or provide you with all the information you need. We also offer massage therapy, art in our Art Womb Creative Space, Marc can teach you some golfing tips and take you for chipping, putting & driving lessons on our iron driving range.
