"The property was easy to get to and close to all the amenities within Big Canoe and the grocery store was only 10 minutes outside the gate. The house had plenty of room and was very comfortable. "We had a great stay. Beautiful views. It is quite a trek into the neighborhood to get here, so we pretty much stayed put for our short stay. If you are like us and don't feel like driving the mountain roads much try taking a walk up the road, pass through the emergency gate and take a left, there is a perfect hiking trail. "

I have a new respect for mountains- we have been to Gatlinburg- Branson and white water rafting in West Virginia. "If you’re looking for a true rustic mountain cabin then this is the one for you. The views were good and the wildlife was abundant. Easy access and convenient to Elijjay and other smaller vibrant towns. We would stay at this cabin again. "
