Getaway

All good but lacking kitchen towels/dish towels and of course a wine bottle opener 😂. Had to go buy one and lost my parking spot. Parking stinks as the whole town shares the same lot but if you sit in your car long enough one will open up. Overall great place outside of that.

Amazing Montana

This is a beautiful property. Well stocked, clean and comfortable condo in an amazing setting. The river views are breathtaking and the convenience to the village of Bigfork is perfect. Love this place and hope to be back soon.

Great place to stay. However the cancellation policy is very unreasonable and we will not be staying there again because of it. There are other properties in the same building that do not have a no cancellation policy.

Very nice condo. Great location.

A couple of things: There was no designated parking spot for the condo. Of all the places we have rented, this was the only place that did not return damage deposit. It was beautiful to sit on the deck and listen to the water. Condo was very well stocked. Thank you.

Comfortable setting

We had a little trouble checking in but we’re still able to contact someone at 11:00PM. The property was very well stocked. It was very clean except for a few of the kitchen cabinets and some dishes. It’s a perfect setting in downtown Big Fork with walking distance to a beautiful trail along the river. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful little town

Enjoyed our stay walking distance to the town. Really enjoyed the back patio overlooking the river which was running at the time due to rains in the previous week. We saw two Shows at the playhouse that we really enjoyed. Only recommendation is for additional towels they only had 4 for 4 people for the 4 nights. Another set per person would be nice so not to have to worry with washing them ourselves.

Conveniently located in downtown Bigfork

The property is situated one block from “ downtown” Bigfork. Darling and well appointed property with lovely furnishings and kitchen items. Very clean and light inside. You can hear the Swan River from the deck outside. We enjoyed the stay and the convenience to dining and the “not to miss” Bigfork Summer Playhouse performances. The management was very responsive to inquiries.

Perfect getaway

We had a perfect long weekend at the chickadee! The location is so relaxing with the fabulous view of the river. The adorable town is just around the corner with great shopping. We also enjoyed the park just over the bridge, it even had live music. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful condo, loud, live music across the street

The property itself is very nice and as pictured. As a family with young children we are generally early to bed and early to rise, and unfortunately for us the property is across from a bar in "downtown" Bigfork. Whether just the summer season and/or weekend nights we stayed, there is loud, live music at the bar from 10:00p until about 1-1:30a, which you can easily hear since the bedrooms are at the front of the condo, closest to the bar. We were surprised (and disappointed) to learn there is no noise ordinance for the town. So if you stay up late anyways (it cannot be heard much if you are out on the back deck) and/or like going out for live music then this may be the place for you.

This rental property was absolutely beautiful! It was so much more than we had expected. We enjoyed being in town and were able to walk to many of the area restaurants/shops. Our evenings were spent on the patio enjoying the sound of the river. We will be visiting Bigfork again in the future and hope to book this beautiful property!

Family wedding in Big Fork

First time to Bigfork and what a gorgeous spot! Had everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable and homey and you can’t beat the location! The sound of the river and taittibgnon that deck on a warm fall day was the icing in the cake. They even accommodated our early arrival - We will definately be back.

I could live there!!!!!

We have rented many VRBO properties and have generally found them to be very nice. This topped all of them by far! It is a beautiful place with a fantastic view. It is appointed perfectly and everything is there that you could want--even a full drawer of herbs and spices. Stay Montana was very communicative and welcoming from the beginning. This was the first time we experienced the electronic check in/out process. It was nice to have them say Good Morning etc to us! We can't say enough good things about this place!!!! We actually drove around to find the "historic downtown" and laughed when we learned it was right behind our condo! Thanks so much for a wonderful relaxing experience.

Great Stay

Our Chickadee stay was very nice. Condo was clean and comfortable and in a wonderful location on the Swan River. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the river and listening to the running water. Very well stocked. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous location and amenities

After an initial glitch upon arrival, and having to get the place cleaned, we settled in to an amazing week. Great communication with the management team. Condo has everything you need to make for a comfortable and amazing stay in beautiful Bigfork. Wonderful comfortable deck overlooking the Swan river. The location is perfect for walks a long the river, the fabulous theater, restaurants, and only about 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. The bar across the street is a bit noisy on weekends, but did not really bother us too much. Would highly recommend this Condo for your time in Bigfork.

Out of town, in town

This unique, well cared for property lets you be in the thick of things in the small, quaint but modern town of Bigfork while also being on the edge of town. As the pictures indicate, the condo is on the second floor of a small office complex (think law offices), and the entrance fronts the town. Once you are inside, the well built condo is quiet, shutting out most of the town/street noise, and the main view is out the huge back windows and from the deck where the Swan River roars. There's no access to the River, just lush, wild country to look at while you drink morning coffee or evening cocktails. Great air conditioning unit, much needed with sun streaming in summer. Be advised that live music plays from the nearby (very fun) bar into the wee hours and you definitely can hear it throughout the unit. Noise cancelling headphones worked for me.

We rented this unit as well as 2 others for a family event. Beautiful condo and so well appointed. Our son and his family were very comfortable here. They were close enough to everyone for the visit yet had a retreat for the small kids to get their down time. Worked out so well - everyone was thrilled with their accommodations.
