"Truly an AMAZING experience! A wonderful weekend away with family to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. Close to Shenandoah National Park (our favorite) and set back in a beautiful setting, this is a wonderful cabin! Lots of sleeping options, a well-equipped kitchen, a big deck with a swing to enjoy, fire pit to relax around…just truly wonderful! "A beautiful cabin and a responsive, helpful host. One thing I do want to call out is that the listing's callout that you should have AWD/4WD is somewhat underselling the challenge of a few of the hills and turns. It's a 1.6 mile, single lane gravel road to the property, with two sharp downhill (or uphill, when leaving) turns. The quality of one of the hills in particular has a lot of deep grooves, probably from people going up it in wetter weather, that can make navigating a little challenging....

"We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"The house was as described. We are a family of 12, with 2 dogs, and the home felt very spacious. There is very little yard to play games in, however, the deck was very nice. The game room was a hit with the kids and adults. The DR table sat the entire family, and the kitchen was large to have several people working at a time. The owners took care of any needs we had. Overall, very happy with our stay there. "
