  • Thank you for your interest in staying here. We are taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety of our staff and guests by using CDC approved sanitizers exclusively and we are disinfecting all door handles, switches, remotes, cabinets, appliances etc. Your cabin is self check-in with private (key code) entrance, full kitchen and full bathroom.

    All amenities are open and operational at this time.

    We recommend arriving here in a car as there is no convenient public transit/transportation to get to nearby attractions or to airports, train stations & bus stations.

    Kindly note there is no good cell reception here and we recommend that you read up on all directions, check in information before arrival or print if necessary. You may not be able to access information on your cell phone on the grounds/parking on arrival.
    If you want to bring kids, please realize there is only 1 kingsize bed.

Enjoyed the secluded location and the sound of the stream next to the cabin. The cabin was very accommodating and clean. The host was very responsive to all our questions.

Had a wonderful stay and the property was so great we barely left it! Beautiful views from the deck of the river and the bedroom was a comfy loft! The hosts were very responsive and the house was clean. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. Great to have access to go to skyline drive or head into town for a little antique shopping and a bite to eat.

Great Cabin

My wife and I stayed a couple of nights at the Log Cabin at the River and it was magical.The location is very private and Serene. We spent most of our time out on the covered porch. It rained one evening and it was very relaxing listening and watching the rain. Really enjoyed our stay.

Cozing log cabin on the river.

Log cabin on the river is the place for you if you want to get away from the city. Easy check- in, close to Shenandoah National Park and easy access to the cabin. The cabin its self is right on a small stream with amazing views. Would highly recommend to friends and family..

Amazing hosts. Responsive! Everything was great! Lovely dreamy location right next to a serene river. Coffee in the morning and cocktails at night had an ambience like no other. Will book again!!

Really enjoyed the remoteness, while still being fairly close to stores and restaurants. Gave us a chance to visit some VA sites we had never been to.

Lovely cabin

Very nice place. Rustic, but with a nice kitchen and bathroom. Had a great time by the fire outside and also using the wood stove inaide. Stream nearby is beautiful

This cabin is fabulous - excellent location, well-equipped and nicely decorated. The stream is soothing. We saw a deer and a gazillion fireflies. If there’s a vacancy, book it quickly. You won’t be disappointed.

We stopped here as a halfway point after dropping daughter off at college. The cabin and location are perfect for resting and enjoying nature. Only regret was the shortness of our stay. Beautiful cabin and wonderful surroundings.

Birthday getaway

My boyfriend love the surprise of staying in a lodge house! We enjoyed very much our stayed here. All the appliances to cooked are there. I love everything about this place!!!!
