We absolutely loved our stay at Fossils End.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fossils End. The cottage is in a fantastic location for exploring the Jurassic Coast and it feels wonderfully private, hidden down a winding driveway and surrounded by greenery. The cottage itself is light, spacious and exceptionally clean. We found it incredibly comfortable (the beds are heaven!) and it had everything we needed for a week-long stay. Helen was a wonderful host and the very generous welcome basket was such a lovely touch. Absolutely recommended, especially to families looking for a secluded haven near the coast! Thank you, Helen! Fossils End is an absolutely beautiful cottage.

Fossils End is an absolutely beautiful cottage. It is very spacious, and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Everything that you need is provided. The owners are lovely, and the welcome baskets for both the humans and the dogs were a nice suprise. The garden is very large and was perfect for our 2 Dachshunds, they just loved going out and exploring in it. The location is very peaceful, and the views of the surrounding fields are stunning. I couldn't think of a better place to stay. We are hoping to return again next year, and would highly recommend to others. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We really enjoyed our stay. Helen the host is a very nice lady. Didn’t bother us after the initial arrival but we knew where she was if we needed anything. The property was spotless and had everything you’ll need for your stay. The welcome pack (including a gift of processco for our wedding anniversary) was a very nice touch. Even poo bags and biscuits for our little dog. To make it perfect for us I would have liked larger bath towels and softer pillows but that’s just our personal choice so not a criticism. The best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have been using cottages since 1986. Helen is the perfect host. Fabulous Dorset Apple cake. And thank you for the dog treats. Book this and you won't be disappointed. Plenty of places to visit,to many to mention.

Fossils End is a very spacious cottage and is lovely and quiet. It is well stocked with everything you need for a holiday cottage and is very comfortable. It would be ideal for people with dogs or children as there is a good sized garden which is enclosed.Helen the owner is very helpful and the welcome pack on arrival was very much appreciated.

One of the best places we have stayed in this country. Lovely welcome from the owner with home baked cake and our dogs were also made to feel welcome with biscuits. Everything was to a high standard and very well equipped kitchen. Wished we could have stayed for long and would recommend to family and friends.

A lovely barn conversion offering single floor accessibility (and it's dog friendly!). Well kitted out with good facilities and grounds. Nicely positioned just outside of Weymouth for good access to most tourist attractions/sites within 45mins car journey (even with local congestion hotspots).

Really enjoyed our stay here.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Fossil's End had a well-equipped kitchen, a good open plan living area and two spacious bedrooms. It was perfect for our first family holiday, being in a very quiet area but also just a 5 minute drive to various shops. It's in a great location for exploring the Jurassic Coast, with Durdle door a 30 minute drive to the east, and Golden Cap 30 minutes to the west. Weymouth and Portland are on the doorstep too.
