"Fantastic, our room was lovely and spacious, we stayed a couple of nights and breakfast was delicious. We also had an evening meal in the 1630 bar which was perfect for dining with our dog. "Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. "Location / location etc. Very clean and as always very well furnished room . Would have preferred Tatton , but it's always booked . Staff excellent , shame the 'Pheasant Golden Ale' is no longer available . Even in wet grey weather , it's a great place to stay ."

"Staff were all courteous and Hotel is really nice. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was amazing. Prices very reasonable. My only negative was the size of our double room! It was really only big enough for a single bed and we were very cramped. Bathroom was lovely though."

"Brilliant Pub, Amazing staff and Stunning Surroundings. We only stayed for 2 nights but would of loved to stay longer. Staff were attentive and welcoming. We were very impressed by our room which was extremely spacious with a large shower room and even a sauna in the room. Our Bed was so comfy and the pub was full of friendly locals.
