"Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again. "

"Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. "My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending performances at the nearby theatre. The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The small amount of food we had was a hit, especially with my daughter! We would definitely stay here again. "

"Great stay at Darwin Townhouse. We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was lovely. It had all the amenities needed eg hair dryer, iron, kettle etc. crisp clean sheets and comfy bed. The garden was lovely with seating areas for the nice weather. We bought a bottle of wine from the nearby wine shop and sat on in the garden one night. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, as was the food at the Loopy Shrew (discounted if you stay in their property). Staff were lovey. The building is just a...

"My son and I spent a week here. The staff were top notch. The highlight of the stay was dining at the restaurant everyday. The food was incredible. Although Shrewsbury has many fine places to dine, we found ourselves returning daily to try something new from the menu. "

"First visit to this Hotel and I must say how delited I was with the degree of professionalism combined with a friendly genuine welcome from the moment I arrived to leaving. Standard of accommodation was terrific with an emphasis on attention to detail. Would highly recommend the full English breakfast. I'll definitely add this hotel to my favourites list. 10/10 "
