"Although we live only 25 minutes away, we had never been to this lake. Definitely off the grid as written and we found the cottage charming as a 1922 cottage could be. We were surprised at the noise from a local event center on Sunday evening, but they got quiet after 10pm. Boaters were active until 11pm on the weekends which also surprised us. The property was very clean, beautifully decorated, had plenty of parking, all sorts of games and the pool table kept everyone entertained. "Quiet getaway, we really enjoyed staying on this property. Area is beautiful western Massachusetts is really majestic, and scenic. It was literally a two min walk to a great restaurant. Lucienne was a lovely host and very accommodating . Her rental was clean and comforting . We had a little patio out back too . If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, i recommend Lucienne's place"

"We can’t say enough about how nice our stay was. The pictures don’t do this cabin justice it’s a fantastic place to stay and a great area that’s tucked away but only a few minutes to nearby towns. I’m from the area and wasn’t familiar with this part of the area. It’s very beautiful and did not disappoint. We look forward to returning to the cabin in the future. "

"We stayed for 2 nights to attend an event at Springfield College. 'We' were 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. While it is pet friendly there were no remnants of any pets from previous renters. It is an OLD farmhouse that was immaculate and comfortably furnished. It is stocked with plenty of towels and all the kitchen utensils and appliances needed. The property is very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of parking and a nice backyard for active kids."
