Lovely, comfortable and well-appointed home

Barb is an exceptional host. She met my mother and sisters at the property upon check-in and gave them a thorough orientation to the home. The home is lovely and very well appointed with everything that we needed. The location is great. A few blocks from the bus stop or down to the waterfront, and tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. I recommend this host and home wholeheartedly and we will definitely book again if we get back to Vancouver. Thanks for your hospitality, Barb!

Comfy relaxing beautifully decorated home with 3 amazing restrooms. 5 comfy bedrooms and a wellness back yard. Barb makes you feel at home. Close to beach and maine street culinary delicious restaurants. Close to hiking areas. Safe calming and peaceful location. We would stay here again!!!

Very enjoyable stay!

Great location, easy to get around west and north Vancouver and drive into downtown. Very clean spacious house with nice large yard. Host greeted us herself and was always available to answer our questions. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Just renovated home — beautifully done. Quiet location with a large deck off the living area

Faces open areas and lots of trees. Relaxing energy — the layout has 2 bedrooms and a bath on each level as well as a family room serving each floor. Having a rental car is important to navigate hetting around. Bery steep hills so great exercise if you enjoy walking to Marine Dr where all the businesses are and Close to the water. Barb is very responsive and gave me a clear and concise check in — always nice to meet the owner and have a conversation!

This property was sumptuously large with the best appointed kitchen I have ever seen! The area was quiet and lovely inside and outside, with a large back garden and tree filled views. Barb, the hostess, was friendly and accommodating.

Perfect Family Getaway 💜

Our family gathered for 10 days at Barb's lovely home to celebrate mom's 75th birthday. Covid had kept us all apart for years, and this home made the perfect reunion spot. Our group ranged from 11 months to 75 years, and the home worked for all of us. It's in a beautiful neighborhood with gorgeous outdoor spaces, and plenty of room for our group of 8. Bedrooms upstairs and downstairs allow for early risers to do their thing without waking the later sleepers. The home has everything you and your group could need, and Barb was an incredibly thoughtful host. Book this place! You and your guests will love it!

Sisters reunion

We were six sisters reuniting after three years apart. The house was just as advertised and was nice and clean for our arrival. The beds in all five bedrooms were very comfortable as was the pull out couch. It is located in a very nice neighbourhood and while on a very steep hill we were still able to walk to Ambleside and the shops. We had an issue with the ice maker on our arrival and the response from the owner was immediate. We would recommend this home.

Gorgeous Home and Incredible Homeowner!

Barb was one of the nicest and most attentive homeowners I’ve ever met while renting through this site! I came up to quarantine in Canada for two weeks and this was the perfect spot. The house appears to be BRAND NEW inside and out and this is in part due to the beautiful taste of Barb and her care for everything. Everything in the house is well appointed and lovely. For those of you who like to cook—EVERYTHING and I mean everything is in the kitchen! For those of you with families, there are many beds in many private rooms and there are sheets, towels, and 3 bathrooms! There are three TVs in different areas so if you’re with a family, kids can have their own spots. There’s a lovely fenced in backyard for families to sit and play—perfect for those with little ones especially. This is the perfect place for families. I was isolated the whole time so I can’t tell you much about the town and area but the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise, nothing. Barb was the coolest! Generous in spirit and heart! I’d rent again from her in a second! MIKE O., Los Angeles

Beautiful home and lovely hosts in West Vancouver.

Barb and her husband were wonderful hosts. The house was very clean and the beds very comfortable. We felt right at home during our stay. It was a nice walk down to Ambleside beach. We enjoyed our stay!

Awesome Neighborhood in West Vancouver

Great location for our trip. Couple minutes off the freeway and just up the hill from an awesome little community in Wet Vancouver. The house we stayed was just as described, super clean, and had everything you could need in terms of cookware, plates, glasses,, etc. looks to be very recently remodeled. Barb was super easy to work with. We arrived quite late but she was available to help if we needed it. Would stay for sure again!

Room to breathe in West Vancouver

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Barb’s rental home in West Vancouver. The house is situated on a dead end street so it’s very quiet. It has many bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms so getting ready in the morning is easy for a larger party. If you have a rental car, many sites are within 20 minutes. We found lots of adventures and good restaurants an easy 20 minute or less drive away. Barb is incredibly gracious and always available if you need her. Highly recommend this property.

wonderful house in West Vancouver

We found the house very modern, comfortable, fully equipped with new good quality appliances. Is in a perfect location to explore West and North Vancouver .easy access to Upper Level freeway Hwy 1 or Marine Drive.there are many excelent restuarants and shops close by. We will rent again when back in Vancouver.

Beautiful, well-stocked home in a great location!

The home was plenty big for our family of five. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Barb was on hand to meet us and walk us through the details. We didn't need anything further during our stay, but she was available by phone if needed. Great location at the end of a dead-end road. It was good to be in W. Vancouver with easier access to Whistler, Grouse and Suspension bridges.

Comfortable Home, Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Barb's home in West Vancouver. The home has been recently updated and the interior is very modern and clean. Barb was very responsive and friendly and made us feel very welcome in her home. The home was great for an extended family with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms on the bottom floor and two bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main floor. The neighborhood is very quiet at the end of a small street, yet it is only a short walk to Ambleside Park and the beach. The beds were all new and very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We would highly recommend this home for anyone with a family that is looking for a relaxing stay on the north side of Vancouver.
