"This is a lovely hotel. We didn't know what to expect and upon arrival, were delighted by the decor, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the manager who greeted us. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities that we would expect. Breakfast was next level. "Although spacious, the room at our arrival was very cold. After having asked twice about it and that we needed two towels as we were two people, yet no heating was switched on. Later in the day, after a long day out, we spoke to another member of staff who final managed to give us two towels and switch on the heating. "Property is beautiful and in a lovely setting. Strange set up where I received an email saying my booking was at risk as I’d given incorrect card details to secure the booking. Payment was due to be taken on arrival. Turns out the hotel needed payment up front and this is why we received the email. This seemed unprofessional and a little odd.
