"It didn’t go as expected. The room doesn’t appear as how it was on the app. There was this strong smell in the room that made it very uncomfortable and not accommodating at all. Only two bathrooms for 10 rooms is unacceptable. U pleasant at all so I checked out yesterday around 3pm instead of today. We only spent one night and that’s because of the nature of the place. It’s not safe to be there. There is only two bathroom for the ten rooms here and due to that we had to climb like three floors...

"We had a great few days here with the in-laws.The view is lovely. Property was advertised & clean. Great space.We were met by Jill who was very friendly & the welcome pack of bread, milk, butter & cake was very much appreciated.Can thoroughly recommend the Old Inn pub just a 3 minute drive away. Great pub food"

"The area was a surprise, the countryside was beautiful, lots of interesting walks and things to do. Eating out was a highlight with so many fantastic places to eat. Best fish and chips in the uk at the Salt and Malt. The host was very hospitable and made us feel at home. We would highly recommend staying here. "

"Leaze Garden Cottage was excellent , well equipped and super clean.The garden space had plenty of seating area for sunny afternoons .Ideally situated for Bath , Wells and Bradford -on-Avon.Frome is just a 10/15min walk , with plenty of artisan shops and cafés. We had a lovely 3 days stay ."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter."

"The property was very well equipped & in a lovely position on the site. It was very peaceful. The couple of queries we had were immediately resolved by the reception staff. If I was pushed to have a slight negative comment it would be that there were no instruction booklets for the kitchen appliances. "

"The property is conveniently located for Southmead Hospital, less than 10 mins walk. Generally clean. The front door lock is tricky and could do with being replaced. Kitchen is small but functional, oven and fridge could do with good clean. Cloakroom and washing machine, had a leak could not be used, handyman time keeping not great. Heating on all the time, day and night. Plant room quite noisy. Host good at responding to messages. "

We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. "The cottage was as described, in the heart of the village, lovely, comfortable and fully equipped. We ve enjoyed having breakfast in the outside space at rear, watching and listening to the brook. This makes the place a real gem. Nunney is a very picturesque and quiet village, yet with a lively pub and a very nice Cafe. "We really enjoyed our short stay at the Carthouse. It's a lovely property in Axbridge, with Cheddar Gorge within easy reach. Communication with Val was excellent and also waited on the side of the road to show us the entrance to the side road. The Carthouse was spotlessly clean and Val had left several thoughtful items to get us started including bread, milk, wine and cider! Thank you Val, it was much appreciated. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property."
