Overall, terrific. Lots of spaces to hang out with big or small groups. Very well-equipped kitchen and lots of dining room space. Stunning location. Minor issues: neither downstairs bathroom had towels. We found some bath towels by the hot tub, but no wash cloths or hand towels. Very little body wash in 1st floor bathroom (1/2” watered down). In the kitchen, very little tea or coffee provided. Ice maker didn’t work. Suggestion: It would have been nice to have an empty cabinet for food. It might be time to cull equipment to get rid of multiples ( no need for 8 pairs of kitchen shears or 10 loaf pans, eg). Also, it would be helpful for cabinets to be labeled with what’s inside and it would help things end up in the right place. Also, check out instructions should include what to do with sheets and towels. And a recycling bin would be helpful.

Great Place for Family Reunion!

Had a wonderful time in this big house that fit all of us. Close to town, hikes, and activities, but feels remote. Owner was very helpful and communicative.

Family Thanksgiving

Our family of 17 (11 adults and 6 children) enjoyed our time cooking together, eating together and enjoying each other’s company in this comfortable house. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, skillets and even two electric roasters (for the turkey and ham) to easily prepare a big meal. Excellent experience.

Great house. Plenty of space and well stocked kitchen. Amenities all worked well… hot tub, fire pit, horse shoes, ping pong, etc. while the house is a little older it still provides us all we needed for our group of friends.

Perfect large group oasis near Asheville

Really great location, 15 min from downtown Asheville, very spacious and clean property with ample beds, space, supplies, games, and offerings for any large group of friends or family on a retreat. Our stay coincided with Hurricane Helene and, despite the challenges brought upon by said natural disaster, the hosts were extremely communicative and helpful, making sure we were okay, providing supplies and advice, and just overall being so helpful and kind despite everything they had going on. We all kept commenting on how lucky we were to stay with them, especially given the storm and its aftermath. We sincerely wish them the best, and hope that the Western North Carolina community has a speedy recovery from the storms. We hope to stay here again when we can!

A wonderful place for a gathering of friends!

Ten of us had a great time here for a weekend! The space was perfect for all of us to hang out, relax, prep food, throw a birthday celebration, and enjoy ourselves in general.

Spacious, well-stocked getaway

We had 18 family members gather here for a vacation/reunion and we were all very comfortable and had plenty of room to relax and enjoy catching up. The house is clean and in good repair. We appreciated all the bed linens, towels, and shower toiletries provided. The kitchen contains ample appliances, dishes, and utensils, as well as paper products, trash bags, etc. We loved the two huge dining tables that allowed ALL of us to eat dinner together every night! Our host was very responsive when we had any questions or concerns. The location is also convenient to shopping and many local attractions. We loved it so much we would stay here again if returning to the Asheville area!

Comfortable stay, small perks!

We enjoyed our stay at this home! They had a fire pit, hot tub, ping pong table, cornhole boards, deck with great views, plenty of beds to sleep in, and it was only ~15 minutes to the heart of downtown Asheville. Would rent again!

Family reunion

Norally was the perfect place for our birthday/ family reunion/ zip lining adventure. The host was very responsive to every question we had. Our family of 16 was so comfortable -we could spread out or gather together on the deck. The kids loved the pingpong table and the huge yard for playing football. The adults loved the huge deck. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. Normally is a perfect house the a large group.

Amazing views and awesome host

Our family stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was big enough to accommodate 13 people without being cramped at all and everyone had their own space. Kitchen was very accommodating for the amount of cooking we did. Host was very responsive and attentive to any questions and the 2 issues we had which were not anything that hindered our stay. Views of the mountains were nice and scenery in the way to the house was phenomenal.

Great location and views.

Nice house with a bunch of beds to enjoy Asheville with kids and friends. Super close to Asheville for dinner or some beers. Alley was super kind and I had answers in few minutes.

We enjoyed the stay here. The cabin is comfortable and has a great view. Details like the sun shade installed on the back deck make it easy to spend time outdoors. And there are PLENTY of beds to accommodate a larger number of people during your stay. Nicely done - thanks Alley!

Thanksgiving/Wedding!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Norally House! We had 13 people staying and had plenty of room for more. The house is so big and spacious that we were able to spread out and be very comfortable. We had a large Thanksgiving meal as well as a wedding at a nearby venue the weekend that we stayed. The kitchen and other amenities were so well stocked that we did not want for anything! Alley, our host, was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Thank you for making this weekend even more special for my family! We will definately come again!

Amazing home

The house was gorgeous but cozy!! Our group was a wedding party, bride, groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen etc plus their families. The house is huge with clever areas arranged for extra sleeping. The hot tub was incredible. Someone put a lot of thought into the layout of the rooms, there’s even a ping pong table which the kids were thrilled with! We personally ran into a couple of snags before and during our stay. The owner was so awesome, she worked with us and did ever she could to help us out. I’m actually already thinking of booking this place again! The views were incredible!!
