"The cabin was clean, great information in the guest book, and the ferry ride process was flawless. We had an amazing time kayaking, walking/exploring around the island, watching the local wildlife (seals, deer, tide pools and more), sitting in the hot tub and feeding the deer. This is an amazing spot and would recommend it to everyone. It is a wonderful break away from the every day life. "

"What I didn’t like: - This property is going through some kind of transition from a short term rental to a hotel? As a result, amenities you would normally find in a hotel are not offered here. For example, the front desk is only open M-F from 8a-6p so if you need help outside of those hours, you’re SOL. - Cleaning service is only done on a bi-weekly so when we stayed here for 5 days, the room got pretty dirty and we had trash and dirty towels piling up. - The portable AC included in the room...

"It was a fun place to stay. Traveling with my 17 year old granddaughter. Wish it would have been 2 nights and more time to explore the town.Only drawback was that I thought we would walk to dinner. Restaurant nearby would only admit people over 21. Otherwise, a perfect get-away. AND owner responded asap to all inquiries! Outstanding. Hope to get there again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the end of the point cottage. The location and outdoor space are amazing. We watched harbor seals swim right under the deck at high tide. The kayaks to explore the bay were a nice amenity. There are windows across the front of the cottage that overlook the bay. The ceilings are a little low in a few places but both my husband and son who are almost 6ft did fine. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed most of our dinners on the deck...

Only recommendations are some extra guidance on the trash/rubbish set up. What goes where…what doesn’t etc. not all plastics are created equally and there was no inside can for green/kitchen scraps. "We came in town to photograph a wedding and couldn’t believe how incredible this place was! The view from the hot tub of fireworks on 4th of July was beyond amazing. The space is beautifully appointed and the bird watching was a real treat. Did I mention the sunsets?!?! The best in the west!!"
