Nice spot
Location is awesome. Sketchy steps to get down there so be careful but the apartment was just as described. Really comfy bed and pillows. Some things were a little run down and I couldnā€™t get the TV to work, otherwise I wouldā€™ve ranked this higher. Place is appropriately priced for the area.

Visiting for a wedding
We had such a pleasant stay at this property! Me, my husband, and our two children (2&4) stayed here for 5 nights. It is a very clean, spacious, and the location is excellent. There is a nice park just a block away where our kids burned some energy. The location was very safe and also not far from museums and attractions. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. I will note that there were a lot of toiletry items in the bathroom. While this is nice in case guests forget things, it did take up the already limited space in the bathroom. As well as making the place feel kind of ā€œlived in.ā€ Not a big deal at all, just a note. Another note, the steps down into the apartment are extremely narrow and steep. We managed them fine, but if anyone has mobility issues it could be quite difficult to get into. We love the character in this home and would definitely stay again!

Best location, cozy apartment!
Our family of four absolutely loved this VRBO. The location is fantastic. Easy walk to the National Mall. Quick Uber service. Having a parking spot off the street was probably one of the very best parts! Very comfortable bed and amazing water pressure. We loved the quirky style and were well prepared by the other reviews for the unique entrance. If you read the check-in instructions carefully, it is easy! Woud definitely stay here again.

Visit to DC
Felt a little mixed about the property. Location was great!. It was a little confusing to find and get into the property. The accommodations were great for a couple & small children. However, the daybed in the living space was extremely uncomfortable and the mattress needs to be much thicker and upgraded or replaced with a good sofa bed. This would allow comfort in the living space. The bathroom and kitchen were good!

disappointed
The property was located in a great area, however the unit itself was a disappointment. The stairs to get to the unit were dangerously positioned and difficult to get up and down for aged individuals. The shower area was in pretty bad shape with mold growing on the walls and floors in between the white tiles. The pots and pans were old and most of them were not safe to be used. The bathroom was located in the bedroom and made it difficult for other individuals sleeping in the living room to access in the middle of the night without waking up the other people. The unit was dark and not fun to stay in.

Excellent Location
Property is in a very nice neighborhood and close to many of the sites we wanted to visit. Grocery stores, restaurants and transportation are close by. We did have some challenges actually getting the door to the apartment open upon arrival and that was a little frustrating but the apartment is good size and comfortable. The steps down to the door are very steep but we knew it in advance. Bed was very comfortable and a/c worked well. Had some issues trying to close the shower door but the water pressure was really good. Very quiet and safe neighborhood with a nice little park just down the street. The wi-fi was a little spotty at times and the TV should probably be replaced. When we did try to watch the TV it would just freeze up so we watched on our IPads instead. It is a very nice location and met our needs of seeing the historical sites of Washington. With some simple changes it would be a great place.
