Great stay in DC

We loved our stay at this home! The location can't be beat; 200 yards from a grocery store and a few blocks away from multiple coffee shops, plus off street parking! Union Station is also an easy walk from the house. The check in was very easy & the owner checked in also to make sure we were all set. I appreciated the hand soap and TP/paper towels to start us off, as well as the board games. We are a family of 5, with 3 small kids. We explored DC by day and ordered in and played games at night, if we weren't exhausted. Beds were very comfy. We loved the character and charm of the house and neighborhood. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it for your trip!

Nice. Clean. Good location. Small for 7 people.

The house is neat, clean and nicely decorated. The location is good. The neighborhood is safe and walk-able to all the sights. The parking was easy. Check in and check out was easy. It is a little tight for seven people, but we were fine. For four people it would be very roomy. The AC was very noisy, we turned it off at night. We were very happy with our stay.

Amazing location and property

Loved this home, it was in a really convenient area with a supermarket just across the road and some amazing food options nearby. Only complaint is that this place has a 1.5 bathroom and not the full 2 that we presumed and the upstairs landing light was broken. Otherwise it was fantastic and the host was really accomodating!

Great Place to Stay!

This is a really nicely renovated apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. Great location for walking in the neighborhood or walking to the Capitol and mall. Beautiful kitchen and nice backyard. Beds are all comfortable with nice linens. Closets in every room. Side tables with lamps for reading in bed or on the sofa. Plenty of electrical outlets for computer/phone charging. Really a great place to stay in DC. I hope we'll be able to come back again. Thank you, Dena!

Fun stay in DC

This is a really charming and comfortable home base for families visiting DC. We loved how easy it was to get around to the museums and the mall and enjoyed exploring neighborhood restaurants for dinner. The host is super responsive to emails and couldn't be more accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Location for Young Family

This house was perfect for us. We traveled with three young children and it was nice to have space to spread out after a long day. I appreciated the laundry for sure! There is only one full bath, but it is nice that there is an additional half bath. The rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed. I really liked this location because you are very near a grocery store as well as many great take-out locations, which we took advantage of every night. The backyard area was nice for the kids. The owner was very responsive, even when we needed a local urgent care. The house IS old, so you should anticipate and expect creaky stairs/floors, small bathrooms, and so on. For us, this is part of city charm and not a negative.

Incredible Brownstone!

This property has been lovingly restored and had everything our family needed. It is gorgeous, well-appointed, and the location was fabulous. The hostess went above and beyond to make sure our 1 year old had what we needed. We loved everything about this home and hope to stay again!

My family and I stayed here for a volleyball tournament and took the opportunity to tour the city and surrounding colleges. The house was super cute, gave us the experience of DC living, was in a great location, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely row house, great location

Quintessential DC row house, exposed brick, comfortable layout. The kitchen is beautiful, quality appliances and more types of coffee makers than I have ever seen in one place! Beds were comfortable, cozy duvets on each. Right by Union station and several grocery stores. Owner was swift and helpful with messaging. Would definitely stay here again!

Destination Wedding Bride family headquarters

Clean, beautiful, convenient- groceries and delicious food (and drinks) walking distance. We had amazing family time with games at the table, tv couch cuddles, cocktails on the patio, playlists on Alexa, and wedding day getting ready. If we couldn’t be home for this special day, it was fantastic to feel at home in this beautiful townhouse. Can’t wait for pictures of the bride descending the staircase…

A great family trip!

A historic and cozy home base for exploring DC! Our family loved this rental. We were able to walk to museums and memorials as well as to grocery and beverage stores (including Whole Foods and craft beer store). We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen after long days of exploring. Would highly recommend as a more “authentic” DC experience than staying in a hotel.

Wonderful home

This VRBO is a charming old row home near NOMa in Washington DC. The house has been very nicely restored, with the historic charm retained but a great updated kitchen. The property is on a quiet street and has a nice little backyard with a grill, table and chairs and patio. It is within easy walking distance of 2 grocery stores as well as a bunch of restaurants. We definitely will stay here again.

Absolute perfection from location to beauty

This beautiful brick home blew us away from every detail with tall ceilings, ornate details, beautiful furniture, and the comfort of the beds. We are so very thankful to have such a stunning and comfortable oasis in the busy hustle and bustle of DC. This home is perfect for any family who may want to cook a meal or two in the fantastic marble kitchen. Enjoy the ease of being blocks from Union station. The yard and parking make this home just so perfect!! Such a beautiful home and thankful for a lovely stay.

Gorgeous row house, excellent location

We had a fabulous stay at Dena’s row house. Our family of five (three kids ages 4-15) stayed for a week to explore DC, and it couldn’t have been better for us. The location is excellent -- neighborhood feels very safe, grocery store one block away, Union Station a short walk away, coffee shops, etc. The house was built in 1890 and has all the charm you’d expect from that era — tall baseboards, beautiful molding, original wood floors, high ceilings. It has been renovated with good materials, so it feels solid. We loved the kitchen — it has a ton of natural light and gorgeous marble countertops. Having three bedrooms was very helpful for us. Also loved the outdoor space. The weather allowed us to eat outside several times. Oh, and parking! It was amazing to have our own parking spot in the city. We didn’t use the car a ton because public transport is so easy, but it was nice to have. Great to have laundry machines in the house. AC worked perfectly. Check in was very easy and Dena communicated with us throughout. We feel very appreciative of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rent again!
