We are glad we made this choice. This cute, nicely appointed apartment was attractive, comfortably furnished with a well stocked kitchen for cooking, and a good night's sleep on the queen bed. The owner communicated well and answered all questions promptly. There were even some extensive recommendations for things to visit in the capitol. It was an easy 25 minute walk to the capitol buildings and grounds. Lot's of eateries nearby. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. There was some overhead footstep noise from the upper residents but only noticeable for a short while in the evenings. Did not disturb our sleep. We would happily return.

We enjoyed our stay at the Capitol Hill apartment. The location is on a quiet charming street just a short 10 minute or so walk to the Capitol and metro station. Charlotte arranged free parking for us and we didn’t use our car for the entire stay. The home is well decorated, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked for preparing meals. The bathroom has a large shower and nice bath towels. The only suggestion I would have would be a new mattress, the one side is a little uneven. I would stay here again if returning to Washington.

My wife and I found the kitchen to be very well equipped. It even included condiments and spices, etc. that are not normally found in time-rental spaces. Kitchen cabinets and storage are well laid out, making cooking in the kitchen a breeze. The rooms were spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Parking was easily found on the street (usually in the same block); the host's and manager's promptness in obtaining a parking permit was most helpful. In sum, we look forward to using VRBO again when we visit Washington, DC, and we really hope that this location is available when we do!

I loved this place! I plan to stay here again. It was super clean and just as described. The only two things that I thought might could use improvement were possibly 1. brighter lighting (the living and dining were a little dim) 2. Maybe a few welcoming snacks (we were hit and thirsty upon arrival) However, there was a nice cold pitcher of water in the fridge. Perfect! I look forward to staying again as my daughter has recently moved to DC.

Great location. Pretty neighborhood and about a 15 min walk to the metro, restaurants, and grocery store. Street parking (30tax for permit which they get for you). I was a little worried about finding parking but it wasn’t bad at all. Very nice place. Has everything you’d need. Great hosts, communication was easy and punctual. Highly recommend!

Nice clean apartment just blocks from Capital Hill

This unit was so clean!! and cozy. Well equipped with all of the necessities. Great area - just blocks from Capital Hill, 2 blocks from a park, a few blocks from several restaurants, overall great location!! Definitely would recommend staying here if you are in the DC area.

Great week of vacation

Bobby and JoAnn are fantastic. This place is as advertised. The location is great. Easy walking to the Mall and its tourist attractions. We visited a local market for essentials and walked to Whole Foods for groceries using the supplied bags. Lots of restaurants in the area. Definitely don’t need a car if you are staying in town. Thanks!

DC Vacation

Perfect for the two of us. A great location behind the capital, but we spent a lot of time in Georgetown which was a long way away. Neighborhood has a diner down the street for breakfast and a couple of markets really close by.

Great spot in Capitol Hill

This was a great spot to stay - the property was clean, everything worked wonderfully, and the hosts/property manager was excellent. All questions answered right away! There are several places within walking distance which should be on anyone's to-go-to DC list, but this property was still nice and quiet.

Cozy, quaint and beautiful spot on Capitol Hill

This unit is exactly as advertised! We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back. The location is incredible, and the neighborhood itself is darling. The check-in process was very easy and so was obtaining a week-long parking pass. Charlotte is an excellent host and the unit is beautifully decorated and has great amenities. We hope to come back next year and hopefully stay here again!

Capitol Hill Classic

This property had everything needed to enjoy my stay in Washington, DC. Add to that, warm and welcoming hosts and you have the perfect spot that felt like home. And the location couldn’t have been better. I will definitely be returning!
