The place was very cozy and fun. The kitchen wasnt very usable, but that was fine since we mostly ate out. It was convenient to park right outside in the driveway. The condition of the space (cleanliness, walls, windows, etc.) was a bit shabby.

Family tour

Fantastic location. Good communication with the friendly owner who accommodated us with everything we needed. Easy walk to White House. Lots of shopping and dining in the neighborhood. Would stay again.

Stayed for a weekend concert and had a great experience. The space comfortably accommodated four adult men with plenty of room left to hang out and socialize. It’s in a fantastic location—just a short walk to a variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and more. Highly convenient and comfortable!

Charming, Cozy, and Wonderfully Memorable Stay

This apartment was everything we hoped for and more! Beautifully decorated with such a fun and welcoming vibe — every corner felt thoughtfully designed, from the eye-catching artwork to the gorgeous tile floors. The layout struck a perfect balance: enough space to spread out when needed, but still cozy enough for quality hangout time with the people you're staying with. Cozy, cozy, cozy!The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, which made meals at home a breeze. And the location? Ideal! Tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and quiet, but still close to everything we wanted to explore.Our host was amazing — responsive, kind, and always a joy to interact with. Every communication felt easy and helpful, which made the experience that much better.We’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a home base that’s both relaxing and full of character!

a weekend in DC with granddaughter

The communication with the owner was very helpful- he researched a lot to the questions we asked about things to do with our 3 yr old granddaughter. The location was great. The place was eclectic and comfortable. some things didn't work as expected but it was clean and quiet and we found ways to work around. I would stay there again.

Eclectic property and great location. Excellent communications with host, who was super-responsive to a logistical challenge at the beginning of the stay. We enjoyed the design and homey feel of the place. It is not new or super modern, yet has charm and taste. Would stay again.

Cute, but Cold!

Here’s a draft review for your VRBO stay:---I recently stayed at a VRBO in Washington, DC, and while there were definitely some positives, a few things could have been better. The unit itself was absolutely adorable! I loved the decorations and the charming vibe of the space—it felt thoughtfully designed and very inviting. However, the heating system was a major issue. The unit was quite cold, and I had to sleep in several layers of clothes and pile on every blanket available just to stay warm. I reached out to the owners, who were incredibly kind and responsive. They assured me they would turn up the heat, but unfortunately, it still remained chilly in most parts of the unit, which made the stay less comfortable than I’d hoped. Initially, I was a little uneasy entering the property by myself through the back driveway, but I quickly felt safe once I settled in. The neighborhood and overall atmosphere were reassuring, and I had no issues during my stay. Overall, I’d say the place has a lot of potential, but the heating situation definitely needs improvement, especially for colder months.

Location can’t be beat!

This apartment had plenty of space and privacy for the 3 of us. The location was fantastic for walking to tourist spots, restaurants, shopping markets. Ted’s was a terrific host—very responsive to our questions and super accommodating. Another huge plus is that we could park our car right in the driveway. Very nice, safe residential neighborhood, but close to all the fun stuff!

Perfect Work Trip

This was perfectly located near DuPont Circle, my favorite DC neighborhood. Plenty of room to have a dedicated workspace during my stay too. Tedd checked in and was responsive even though nothing came up during my stay. I would definitely recommend.

This is a very large basement apartment with two bedrooms, large living room and a modest kitchen. Dupont Circle and many restaurants are nearby. It was pet friendly. The decor is to say the least unique and eclectic!

Great weekend stay in DC

This was our second stay in past 3 Months at this property. We had 3 adults so we stayed in the 2 Bedroom apartment. The location is perfect for our needs to be in both Georgetown and in DC proper. The beds are VERY comfortable and having a big living room is a huge plus. Tedd is an Awesome host. Communication is clear and easy with host. Would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants great location and comfortable accommodations.
