The apartment was quite satisfactory. It is very easily accessible by public transport, though it's about 35-40 minutes by bus/metro to much of downtown. This wasn't an issue for us, but a good thing to know. The public transport is affordable and intuitive to use, so this is just information. Also worth knowing that the apartment has an electronic key that works with your phone and you'll need to download an app, so if your phone loses charge quickly, it is worth making sure you have a portable charger to take out with you lest your phone die and you be locked out.Noise from above in the house (footfalls, television, etc) is audible though certainly not excessive, and we were quite comfortable.The temperature in the apartment was very pleasant, there was a variety of tea available, there was a microwave and fridge with some drinks in it, and the water pressure in the shower is great. They kindly provide a kettle to boil water. We slept soundly, and the bed was comfortable. The host communicated well and quickly and was very pleasant. There are small improvements I'd make, but overall, we would happily recommend this place.

We were locked out in the freezing cold. Tried to call the owner he wouldn't answer the phone or text or the doorbell chime. we had to get an uber to a hotel he finally texted back at 9:00 am the next day. We told him how we couldn't get in and he acted like it was our fault. NEVER AGAIN

The VRBO is clean and very conviently located near the Metro. Neighorhood is friendly and the free parking spot is a lifesaver. The only down side was that you can hear everything the family upstairs is doing. If you plan on being out late or up late, then this shouldn't be an issue, but if you go to bed before 11pm you will probably be kept awake.

The property matched the online description however the area was less then desirable. Bars on 80% of homes and businesses. The home had an overwhelming odor of Marijuana. The upstairs guest had blasting offensive rap music playing and the smoke detector went off several times. This atmosphere was not what we were looking for on our vacation. We stayed about an hour an left to find other arrangements. After about 2 hours we returned to gather our belongings and left for our new location. It took approximately 3 days to get the odor of marijuana out of our blankets, pillows and other fabric items. We can't say anything bad about the host Njay he was more then accommodating with any issues or questions we had up to our arrival. We understand you can only control your quest so far but this was not a good start to our vacation.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The property was clean and even smelled nice! NJay was a great host and easy to communicate with. I stayed for a little over 2 weeks by myself and felt safe. The parking seems a bit obscure but it was very convenient. The neighbourhood is quiet and private and not far from most key spots in the DMV.

I enjoyed my stay here at the property, the host was very responsive when I had any questions or concerns. Everything was neat and clean and well maintained, the neighborhood was nice and quiet with friendly neighbors. Very accessible to the metro stations and overall I had a nice experience here and definitely will be staying here again.

The property was just as described. A simple, clean, studio. The owners left lovely little gifts to help make the stay more comfortable. They responded to my messages very quickly. The area was sketchy but quiet. I was surprised when I placed my reservation at checkout that I needed to pay an additional $89 for insurance. I wasn't expecting that additional cost.

This property met our needs & was clean & cozy as the name suggests. Close fifteen minute walk to the closest metro station & that was really convenient. The bathroom is a bit of a tight squeeze but very manageable for a few days. No big deal. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great and it was very clean. The bathroom was lovely that a little small it provided us the space we needed for our stay in DC. The host was very responsive so if you have any trouble he responds pretty quickly, the only snappy we ran into was getting into the property but that was in part my learning curve. Thank you!

The rental is as pictured, it has an open and light feeling for a basement suite. Super comfy bed. We did need to contact NJay concerning the lock once and he responded immediately. Knowing our vehicle was parked off the street was a real plus. We walked to the Metro Station each day (10 mins) and never had to worry about parking downtown. I would recommend this property.

This weekend (4/20/23), My Fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay ay this very cute and cozy property! This property is exactly as it is described and the host Njay, was more than welcoming and responsive to our needs. We are vegan and had no idea about the vegan places in the area and beyond. Njay sent a listing with suggestions. I am highly recommending to stay here if quiet and clean is what you are seeking!!

Nice stay. Everything was as promised and matched the photos. Easy access with keyless entry, which worked great. Host was awesome with quick responses, clear directions, and good communication throughout our stay. Bottle of wine, bottled sparkling water and snacks were a nice touch. Very comfortable and fit our needs well.

This unit met my needs. It was exactly as pictured and the bed was comfy. The space didn’t feel cramped and the couch was comfy as well. Some minor issues though. First the pros: exactly as pictured, comfy bed and surprisingly the unit didn’t feel cramped at all. Relatively short walk to a metro station. Cons: my main gripe was that I could hear everything from the people upstairs. Not sure if that was the owners or other Vrbo guests but yes I could hear their convos about juice, what they were watching on tv, pretty much everything. I guess it’s my own fault because the listing does clearly say basement but with Vrbo I always expect to have a stay that does not feel like I’m just in a room in the host’s home. I definitely felt like that this stay. It wasn’t constant but it definitely made me feel weird. It was nothing to be done about it either because how entitled would it have been of me to message the host and say can you tell the people upstairs I can hear EVERYTHING. That’s their home or space so I have to respect that. Other minor gripes was although the shower itself had plenty of room, using the toilet was very uncomfy and tight for my 6’ 230 lbs frame. The entry way to the unit was always caked with a muddy mess. A few times on the Netflix I got the message too many people are watching at once do you want to upgrade. Neighborhood is completely residential but that was fine. Overall it met my needs but I don’t know if I would stay again because of hearing everything

Everything was very clean and well kept when we arrived. Check in process and getting in was a breeze! Never used a keyless entry before but it was awesome. Had everything we needed and communication when we needed something was super quick and responsive. Would definitely stay here again. We had such a great experience.

Clean and Cozy was just what is says, clean and cozy. The bathroom had soaps and shampoos already in the shower, the fridge had some waters in it and there were snacks on the table along with some assorted teas. The on-site parking was also a big plus for me. There was an issue with the smoke alarms early Saturday morning. The owner who was on site could have made an appearance instead of communicating thru the app which took a little longer. There was no fire but the fact that the was on site and didn’t make an effort to show up in person shows lack of concern I would recommend this place to others

We drove up from Georgia arriving in the evening hours. Make sure to check for host messages the day before you arrive or day of, as they give more detailed directions to private parking and how to use the virtual key to enter the apartment. Ideal space for 2 people making it their homebase for sightseeing in DC. Outstanding & timely communication from host, thanks for the hospitality & snacks

We enjoyed our stay here at this Vrbo property. It was very amenable and even had prefilled shampoo containers! We were supplied toothbrushes, tea, plates, cups, and a hot water pot as well. The bed was firm, yet comfortable. The pillows were a little on the light side but we sufficed with putting some blankets under them. They provided extra towels and blankets as well next to the bed! It was nice and warm our entire stay!
