Great neighborhood-comfortable & very well appointed

We had a great visit to DC. The apt was located in a tree lined neighborhood with access below ground, but it was airy & clean with a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed the 25 minute walk to the capitol and many Smithsonian museums.When we arrived we were given misinformation about accessing the apt by the management company that caused a significant delay in getting in our visit to the DC sites. The mgt company also asked for our feedback but did not respond to some minor issues we expressed.

Quaint, clean, well-stocked one bedroom downstairs apartment. The one bedroom offers little privacy due to shutters and mounted TV on shared wall with LR area where the pull out couch is. Perfect for an individual or a couple. I gave 4 stars to accuracy of listing only because I believe that transparency of property management company should list application is required and acceptance of Lease agreement following payment. Otherwise, they were very responsive and timely.

Perfect in every way!

We had to come to DC for business on short notice and this place was perfect! Great location, perfect setup and everything we needed! Great communication with the property owner when needed as well. A Lovely Stay

A week in D.C. We were delighted with the apartment. It was clean and comfortable (a wonderful shower) and in a great neighborhood of young professionals, strollers and dogs. We walked everywhere. The Capital is less than 30 minutes on foot and there is such terrific architecture to look at along the way. We were return, and we will, it is likely we’ll rent the same unit. Thank you to the owners.

The owner was very responsive when we left the apartment unlocked. We called immediately and they locked it for us without any complaint. Nice neighborhood in downtown DC. Very clean with comfortable bed and shower. A very good experience all together.

Perfect spot to explore DC/Capitol Hill

The space was perfect for my wife and I who made a last minute trip to DC for our Anniversary. The location was very clean and had everything we needed including a comfortable bed and living room, well appointed kitchen, and an amazing shower. The neighborhood was quiet and very cute. Easly walkable to great restaurants and bars, and about 1 mile from the Capitol, which made for a nice walk through the beautiful neighborhood. Communication was great and check-in was a breeze. We hope to be back!

Great layout with new kitchen, lots of light, and a wonderful spa shower with every kind of spray and plentiful, steady hot water. Our host made sure everything was perfectly clear before, during and after the rental. A gem!

Capitol Hill Refuge

After long days of seeing the sites around DC, we were glad to be able to return to this comfortable one bedroom garden apartment. Everything we needed to cook was at hand, of course with all the great DC restaurants we didn't cook much. The H street corridor was packed with restaurants and was 3 blocks away. Washer and dryer are also a plus as is the scent-free supplies. And the shower! I WANT ONE. I wouldn't recommend for more than 2. We got our steps in with walking to the Mall everyday.

Cute apartment in a safe, clean neighborhood

This rental property is very homey and comfortable. Nice place to come back to after exploring all day. The property is about a mile walk from the Union Station where you can catch the Metro or taxis very easily. You can walk to a few places once you get to the Union Station, such as the Capital and the mall area but it is a long walk once you’ve already gotten to the station. We never utilized the trolley and never saw it running either so I can’t comment on that. We used Ubers or the Metro mostly. The closest Metro stop is the Union Station so again, if you’re not in the mood to walk or unable to walk, Ubers are needed to get to any of the monuments. Also, there is nowhere to store your luggage if you arrive before check in or leave after check out so you will need to utilize the luggage storage places that cost money or lug your luggage around if you do not have a car. There is a hefty fee to check in earlier or check out later. The owners were very easy to contact and helpful! Overall, great little place in a nice neighborhood!

Quaintness, well worth it

The property is clean, well decorated and makes good use of space. It is important to get a free parking pass if you have a vehicle. There is no guaranteed safe space without it. Also it is one queen size bed in a semi-private room and full-size futon in the living space. I would recommend this property. Thank you for allowing us to share your living space. We had a good time.

Perfect Location

There are no hotels within 5 miles of this area of Capitol Hill. My daughter lives on the same street, 2blocks away so the apartment was IDEAL! After a busy day w/ my daughter, husband and3 month old grandson it was terrific to come "home" to my very quiet, well stocked apartment for a good nights rest. Thanks so much!
