Good stay. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood about a 20 minute walk to Fort Totten Metro. Well equipped and clean. Host is very responsive.Only negative is you need to drive for dining or shopping. Nothing really within walking distance.Good location to explore city by Metro.

We had a nice 6 night stay in DC. Property was clean and well lit. Check in process was simple and hassle free. Located about .6 mile from Metro train allowing for a 15 minute walk in a fairly safe neighborhood. A/C had a hard time keeping up in the afternoons and evening, but it was low 90's when we were there. Stairs going upstairs need to be replaced as they are very noisy and everyone is awake after someone walks on them. I would stay here again.

Nice time away

We enjoyed our stay here. It was just far enough out of DC, but close enough to the metro station to walk each day. The place was nice and looks to have been recently updated. The host uses an app for locking the door. I never received the app instructions, but the owner gave the the app name and it was easy enough to get set up and go from there. I will say, don't get caught outside without your phone, as the lock seems to lock the door automatically after a certain time. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout, and the home even comes with an extra stow-away bed, which we didn't use. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the back patio, too.

6 adults and 2 infants stayed 3 nights at this property. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and close to the metro.The master bedroom was large enough to include two pack n plays.The livingroom/kitchen area is very spacious and comfortable.Off street park was a huge plus!We will remember this property for the next time we are in town.

Great place, great location

We loved our stay here. The proximity to the DC Metro (with parking for the metro) made it amazing. Walmart and Aldi are close by and the neighborhood is great. I’d recommend it for any family coming to sight see!

Great house, quiet neighborhood

Spent the week seeing the sights of DC with my wife and 2 teens. This house fit the bill perfectly. House was clean and well equipped. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, or to recommend to others.

Don't let the pictures fool you

You can not walk anywhere in this house without massive creaks happening with every step. Even my 8 year old son had the stairs creaking for those middle of the night bathroom visits. The queen size 2nd bedroom does not have a door that stays shut, so you can forget about any sort of privacy. The fridge in the kitchen does not have working water/ice feature. Cleaners had left rotting bananas from previous guest on the counter, which made us think that they didn't clean other areas of the house properly. The listing boasts about a working grill, but in reality, only 10% of the grilling surface gets any sort of significant heat, and the ignitor switch did not even work. When we asked the property manager for an alternative (like matches or a lighter) they guessed on a location of one which they didn't have, so we ended up having to purchase one on our own... and then, like I said, the grill was so awful we ended up nixing it entirely and cooking inside. The backyard looks like it hadn't been cut for 5 months, and there were weeds overgrowing the front yard. This property may have looked nice in the pictures, but it was obvious that this was not a personal property owner, but a business only looking to make as much profit as possible. Hospitality is important to us when we stay at places, and that didn't seem to be a priority for this home. This was an internally cosmetically pretty property, but not functional for a private homey vacation spot.

Great Property!

Our family just finished up our week long stay in DC and this property was great! The owner is friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. Property was clean and located just outside of the busy part of DC in a quiet friendly neighborhood. We highly recommend.

Great house

Overall the house was clean and Taj was very responsive and helpful. We had some issues with the dishwasher and stove and he quickly responded and resolved them. House was as advertised except no complimentary metro card or snacks like the listing stated. Couches were uncomfortable and one was broken. Having a washer and dryer was amazing along with plenty of parking! Nice quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our visit. We would stay there again.

Family vacation

Over all this property was great! The owner are very nice and responsive! The place was very clean and presentable. The only thing that could use improvement would be the couches. While they serve the purpose to be a bed they are very uncomfortable to sit on and visit with family. Aside from that everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again!

Happy trip

Very clean, recently remodeled home. Easy to find and use. The couches are futons and very uncomfortable, one was broken. Out host assured us they were working on replacing the broken couch.

3 Generation Family Vacation

Our family of 7 spent a week at this property and were very pleased with our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of coffee pods to last the week! Walking distance to the bus stop was very doable. We relied solely on the bus and metro system during our stay and had no issues. Taj and Kim were very responsive and quick to help us out when our large crew needed some more blankets and towels. We would gladly stay here again if we travel back to DC in the future!
