Great house poor communication

The house was very nice, clean, quire and good location. The parking was also very convenient, most house have street parking,we had a very private place right at the door. The main complaint i had was communication, i sent two emails with questions through the VRBO app and never did receive a responses. I finally did get check in information about 10 hours befor we arrived. Once we arrived there was a bar code to scan to get good information, it would have been nice to get that information befor arriving. Over all it was a good place to stay and would stay there again.

First time

This was my first time renting thru this service. I could receive an answer thru an email 24/7. The apartment was clean and situated in a quiet neighborhood. There were 4 adults and as 9 month old. There was plenty of room. Overall satisfaction was excellent for all the categories above. I will likely use this web service again.

Property was exactly as expected. No issues. Property owners were in contact to ensure no unexpected problems. Parking is a little tight if youre not used to the city but thats just the nature of the area and not reflective of the property or owners.

The property was as advertised. Overall clean and tidy and amenities were as advertized. The couch arm is broken but did not affect stay or use. It is a basement apt, which I knew and had typical noise from upstairs, but nothing I haven't experienced in a hotel. Easy walk to metro and easy drive to downtown.

Visitors for first time

Place was okay however the parking is very tight and shared with other tenants. Place really needed a deep cleaning as refrigerator had leftover ice cream cup and lot of hair in living room.

Cute Basement Apartment

It was just what we needed. The space was super cute and well maintained. No issues with booking or check-in. We didn't recall the listing stating that it is a basement apartment with the owner living above us. Just FYI. (It really only mattered when we ordered food. We simply went up to the front so delivery would not disturb the owner with our deliveries.) Upon arrival we noticed that one bath was missing a shower curtain. After contacting the property manager, someone was sent to put up the curtain. While he was there, he also replaced a lightbulb in the hallway. The gentleman was a very courteous. Communication with the property manager was pretty swift. For example, my roomie used the wrong face cloth to remove makeup and paying to have it replaced was as simple as an email. The only other issue we had was the lack of lighting on the walkway from the front gate to the door. While there are three lights to illuminate the path, only one of them was working. When returning from dinner we simply used our phones to light the path to avoid a tripping hazard. The back gate is a bit difficult to open. If you intend on parking in the back, just be aware that you may need extra time to get the gate open. (You will also have to get back there to throw away the trash and recycling). Great stay in a great neighborhood.

Fit us perfectly

Great and efficient place, well equipped. We usually bring most of our own cooking supplies (I am picky!), but we forgot. Turned out to be no problem! Parking was convenient, Seemed a bit tight, but turned out fine even for our long Toyota minivan. Close to grocery store. Quiet neighborhood.

Great spot

This was a perfect spot for our family of 4 to visit both the Mall and several of the local colleges (very close to Catholic). The property was clean. There is plenty of light even though it is a basement location. Parking was great. I would suggest more dishes/utensils/glasses be added to the kitchen.

Nice property

This is a nice property on a quiet street with about a 3 block walk to Metro/dining/shopping. The private parking (on the alley behind the property) was a nice plus and not real common in the DC area.
