The hosts are lovely, welcoming, providing precise notes about the place. "Charming," in this case, means both old, quirky, and, in fact, charming. Kitchen well equipped for basic cooking. All in all very comfortable, but one caution: best not to rely on the second bed (a pullout couch).

We really enjoyed the location of this rental. We were able to bike or walk everywhere. We were close to many excellent restaurants. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there was hair and fingernail clips in the sink when we arrived.

Wonderful spot

Great location. Close to zoo and short walk to red line. All the amenities you need. Bed and pillows were comfortable, and there was even k cups for the keurig!

Charming, walkable neighborhood

It's a clean, minimalist space with everything needed for a short stay in the Adams-Morgan neighborhood. The metro is a good five-minute walk away, and the grocery stores about 10 minutes. I appreciated easy access to a long, paved path for running. I was cold at night when I needed heat, and too hot when the radiators came on first thing in the morning as I was already toasty in bed. But I appreciated the quick comms with the manager, who let me store bags securely on my last day.

Great old style apartment in DC

I was in DC attending President Carter’s funeral. The apartment was a 5 minute walk to where I had to get the shuttle to the National Cathedral. The apartment was very clean and perfect for one or two people. The old steam radiator’s added to the charm. The metro was a 5 minute walk too. Great place to stay if you are visiting the Zoo.

Lovely, Clean, Comfortable

Lovely, clean apartment. Just the right size for the two of us. All our needs were met. Location is excellent - away from the noise, yet close enough for convenience. The Woodley Park Metro station is a couple blocks away and takes you into DC within a few minutes. A number of restaurants are also within a few blocks of the apartment, varying in price range. Amenities in the apartment are aestheticly pleasing, in good working order and comfortable. We were more than satisfied.

Adams Morgan Stay

The apartment is as described. The communication with our host was exceptional - very clear and responsive. Easy check-in/check-out. My family needed a place to lay our heads after enjoying time in DC visiting family and sightseeing. This apartment worked well for us. Clean, not fancy and filled our needs. We requested the parking space in the back and were glad to spend the extra money to avoid parking issues.

Excellent property!

A clean, charming place in a great neighborhood. Very convenient to the subway and bus, many great restaurants within a short walking distance. Excellent security, and a very responsive host. We had a minor problem with some burned out light bulbs and it was addressed immediately. Perfect for a family visiting DC; we made great use of the kitchen and had much more comfort and space than in a hotel.

Great location, aging building

We really enjoyed the location of the property. It's close to the zoo. It was down the street from a street with a lot of places to eat. The building itself is showing age. Everything worked fine, so no complaints there but expect creaks and some wear. The unit itself was clean and worked for our needs. We didn't shower as it was a quick one night stay. There is on-site parking for an additional cost which was nice. The lot itself is TIGHT but again, not the fault of the property and probably better than street parking. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had before the stay and the infor for checkout was easy enough as well.

Great keyless entry system! Bed and pillows are very comfortable. A/C works well too. A bedside table and table in bedroom and bathroom would be helpful. Lighting in kitchen was dim as only one light worked. Enjoyed our stay.
