Perfect location, beautiful decor gave it that mountain feel, exactly what we were looking for. Very relaxing and serene. Very clean, kitchen well stocked and beds very comfortable. We all really enjoyed our stay

It is a beautiful house, located so close to Sugarbush! Kitchen had all the amenities you would need (plus spices, cooking oil, etc.) We came with out adult sons and there was plenty of space for all. We would happily return.

The home is so spacious! There was a bedroom and bathroom on each level, making it ideal for large groups to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped. The couch is large enough for the whole group to relax together next to the beautiful windows of a lovely view.

Wonderful getaway!

My friends and I stayed at this rental for a wedding weekend, and it was wonderful! There ended up being only 6 of us but it had enough sleeping arrangements for up to 10 people. The host was very communicative with us and gave us ideas of nearby activities. We loved hanging out in the wide open living room area. Highly recommend!

Place was great - tucked away in the woods but convenient access to town. Hot tub was perfect. Plenty of room for our party of 4 adult friends to relax. Well stocked kitchen.

Hosts are the best! Tons of towels, bedding, etc. Place was clean & nicely appointed. Will rent again!

Great location to Mt Ellen and Sugarbush

Beautiful home. Very Spacious with plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Living room with cathedral ceiling is amazing. House is beautifully decorated. Wood stove and hot tub were a big bonus.

Short stay

Property was good. 5 adults. The location was great if you were hiking etc. I needed a place close to Middlebury. The add said 19 miles to Middlebury. Definitely not. But everything else met our needs. Communication was great and swift. Plenty of supplies.

Overall this was a great stay. Two items for awareness:1) The stairs both to the second and third floors are incredibly windy and slippery. I fell while holding my infant son and while wearing socks. It was very challenging to transport babies and pets up and down these stairs. It would be worthwhile to install carpeting or treads on the stairs, or to warn guests that they should wear soled shoes / slippers to get up and down.2) The check-out instructions were far more rigid and long than at similar properties we have stayed at, including items such as returning all dishes to proper locations (as opposed to just washing them and leaving them in the drying rack) or sweeping the floors. Given the 298 cleaning fee we paid, these instructions feel misaligned with peer properties and could stand to be reviewed. Thanks.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the cozy charm and thoughtful touches throughout. The cabin perfectly blends rustic warmth with modern comforts—you get the woodsy, tucked-away feel without sacrificing conveniences like a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and a spotless bathroom. The big windows bring in so much natural light and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and mountains, making mornings with coffee and evenings by the fire feel truly special.We loved the peaceful setting—secluded enough for total relaxation, yet close to hiking trails, local markets, and small-town gems that made exploring easy and fun. Whether it was sitting on the deck listening to the birds, watching the stars at night, or curling up by the wood stove, every moment felt like a retreat from the everyday.I can’t recommend this cabin enough for anyone looking for a serene Vermont escape. It’s the kind of place that lingers with you long after you have left.
