We had such a great stay here! The condo was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed including beach gear like chairs, sand toys, an umbrella, a cooler etc. There was even kids toys in the living room that my two boys loved! It also had probably the softest towels I’ve ever used while on vacation! The owners were great with communicating all of the details and even checked in to see if we needed anything. We really hope to come back and stay here again!

We did not use the pool. Love anaehoomalu beach. Island Vintage Coffee Shop. Condo had everything we needed. Very clean, loved on ground level. AC worked well. Plenty of towels. Washer/Dryer huge plus. Great items for kids as well (even though ours were not there). Played the games. Perfect.

We had a great stay at Hale Nene! Beautiful and comfortable condo with everything we needed. Loved the extra toys, snorkel gear and towels so we didn’t have to bring our own. The location is great! Waikoloa was sunny and perfect every day, yet still close to Kona or other towns. Plenty of restaurants close by. The kids (age 3 and 6) loved the pool, seeing the Nene birds and geckos. The Kids museum at Kings Market was great as well!! Would recommend 10 out of 10.

Amazing Condo

The condo was amazing—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. The location was fantastic, and the complex itself was great. We loved being able to walk easily to nearby shops and restaurants. The unit was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and kids’ toys—they made our stay even more enjoyable.We did run into a minor issue during our visit, but Matt and Anna responded quickly and took care of it right away, which helped keep things stress-free.One small suggestion for improvement: a few walls could use a deeper clean, as we noticed some smudges and water stains. Still, it was a wonderful experience overall—we can’t wait to come back!

Lovely place

This is a lovely place, well stocked kitchen, very comfy beds and plenty of room for all of us. Also close to the pool and BBQ area, and easy 5-10 min walk to the beach. I highly recommend!

Beautiful condo

We were very impressed with this condo. The condo was beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked with everything we needed including beach chairs, boogie boards and board games. With amenities and walking paths close by it was very convenient. Thanks for making our stay a great experience.

Christmas on the Big Island

The condo worked perfectly for us. Great location to walk to both Kings and Queens marketplaces. We were able to watch the golfers try their latest swings on the fairway in front of the condo, some with success, some still learning. The condo had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. Beach chairs and an umbrella. A cooler to take snacks with. And beach towels so you don’t have to bring your own. Our son worked out in the gym each morning which may be on the small side, but seems appropriate for the property and the guests that were using it. The owners were available at a moments notice. We had a vehicle parked in the reserved spot, texted the owner and had a response back in minutes. They contacted the property and had the issue resolved in no time. Much more attentive than other places we have stayed. Main tip: make sure to hit Costco and Safeway in Kona prior to heading to Waikoloa. The Island Market in the Queens shops is very inflated. Use them for those last minute items, not to stock the condo for a week. We have stayed in the Kolea condos that are beside the Marriott across the street, as well as a house south of Kona in Keauhou estates. This condo is on par with those options based on how many people you have. Actually better since we could contact the owner easily and had no worries on anything that was happening. This is a definite rebook for the future.

Gorgeous condo

We were so happy to stumble upon this gem of a condo! The space was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed coffee on the lanai every morning watching the incredible variety of birds and other wildlife. The location is great. It’s a short walks distance to shopping, restaurants, and a gorgeous beach. The condo is fully equipped with everything you’ll need, from plush spa robes, to beach and pool equipment - even a cooler for beach days! We wish we could’ve stayed longer and can’t wait to come back!!!

Beste Unterkunft auf der gesamten Hawaiirundreise. Hier ist es wirklich perfekt. Es fängt an mit der Lage. Ruhig am Ende des Parks gelegen und doch nur wenige Minuten Gehweg von den Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt. Die Einrichtung ist absolut komplett und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch die Besitzer kümmern sich rührend um die Gäste. Alles in allem perfekt.

Wonderful stay at Hale nene

We had a great 2 week stay at the hale, it is really well designed and comfortable. They accommodated our 1 year old really well on top of great overall attention to detail. We really enjoyed the location and walking distance to everything! Anna was quick to respond to our questions durning the stay and helped out quickly as well. We will be staying here again when we visit the big island. Thank you!!!

Superb family vacation

Our family of four (two adults, two teens) spent 10 nights at this property and could not have enjoyed it more. The condo is clean, well maintained, and modern. Having two full bathrooms worked well, and being able to use the washer and dryer during our extended stay was helpful. We utilized the cooler, beach chairs and umbrella, and towels on our many trips to the beach. We walked from the property to both the Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace, and the men in our family enjoyed a round of golf. We enjoyed the pool on multiple occasions. We prefer a location that is away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities, and that is quiet and relaxing at night. We were 100% satisfied with everything about our stay, and will book here again if we ever return to the Big Island.

Five (of the Many) Reasons to Stay at Hale Nene Waikoloa!

We had a fabulous four-night stay at Anna and Matt's Hale Nene Waikoloa condo! (1) The property owners and on-island manager responded quickly, clearly, and kindly from start (when we booked the unit) to finish (when our security deposit was returned in full shortly after departure). (2) The unit is recently renovated in a Hawaiian modern style (the pictures in the listing accurately reflect its appearance). (3) Having separate twin beds in the second bedroom was a huge draw for our family of four (with two elementary-aged kids). (4) The lanai closet (as of when we left) had a beach umbrella, four beach chairs, four boogie boards, sand toys, and snorkel equipment, perfect for beach days near and far from the condo. (5) The unit came equipped with extra towels for the beach and the community infinity pool, which was never crowded during our time there and provides a beautiful view at sunset of the golf course, lake, and nearby marketplace. Not sure when we'll be back on the Big Island, but this will be our first choice place to stay when we do!
