"The host Greg was just fantastic as he helped us weather a once in a hundred year storm blowing through the islands. We lost hot water in only part of the property and otherwise came through unscathed! Given the circumstances a great experience."

"BBQ at the pool area and in condo was great.We had some 8 people for dinner and was enjoyed by all. Quite time at pool is different then townhouse. Rules are strictly enforced. "

"We stayed in this peaceful and beautiful place for just one night, and would gladly stay again on our next trip to the Big Island. Beds were so comfy, hosts were wonderful, and we woke up to a full rainbow practically on the roof in front of us! Thank you for a great stay!"

"The villa was extremely clean, well stocked with pantry staples and appliances (rice cooker, four choices for making coffee, plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils, and a beautiful outdoor grill). The unit is nicely maintained and was extremely comfortable for the three of us. Kolea is a very nice resort with a lovely pool and hot tub and a path to the beach. "This was a very comfortable condo, and as is mentioned frequently, is very close to the beach/pool and trail to the ocean. The location on the island is beautiful, and we truly enjoyed Kolea resorts, with the groundskeeping, nearby restaurants and shops, and nearby beach. While the condo does not have an ocean view, it is easy to walk down to the beach. The area feels very safe. Robert let us have a little extra time on the day of checkout as well. "
