The condo was very clean and well stocked, with a lot of beach equipment such as snorkels, fins, and boogie boards plus a big waterproof bag to carry them in. There's a great beach only a few miles down the road as well as a low-key pool right across the street. The only minus is the condo gets pretty hot in the afternoon even with the blackout curtains and many fans - it cools off quickly at night so if you're out all day it's not that big a problem.

Beautiful But Hot

Beautiful condo with fully equipped kitchen, stocked bathroom, very comfortable bed. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing with a sweeping panorama of the golf course, the lava fields, and the ocean. Watching the sunset from the balcony was wonderful. We saw many varities of birds on the golf course to include nenes and wild turkeys. The only downside was the afternoon heat inside the condo which could get quite uncomfortable. (After the sun went down in the evening, the temps were much better.) Another negative were the living room couches which were rather dated and too low to the ground. They were hard to get out of and uncomfortable for sitting. The condo photos show a black leather lounge chair with ottoman (which I would have loved to sit in) but they are no longer there. What would make this a 5 star review would be an AC unit, and new sofas and/or lounge chair.

Excellent Stay.

Easy check-in directions. The ocean view is terrific and the property had everything to make a very nice vacation. The club access (golf, pool and tennis/pickle ball) across the street was enjoyable. A nice grocery store and restaurants 5 minutes away. Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea and Hapuna resorts/beaches were a short drive away. Also, an easy 25-30 minute drive from Kona airport.

Great condo in a lovely, quiet neighborhood

Very nice condo with a beautiful view from the lanai overlooking the ocean. Very clean, host was very helpful with questions and even left us a nice gift. The condo could use some style/design updates but had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Quiet, Clean and oh, the stars!

This condo was perfect for us, amazingly quiet and the star gazing was incredible. We very much enjoyed having our breakfast on the lanai, rating the golfers as they passed through - great entertainment! We did not do any cooking, but the kitchen is VERY well equipped. Thank you Lance!

Wonderful stay- Great view

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Big Island. The view from the living area and deck was superb!!The owner provides lots of beach supplies- snorkeling gear, boogie boards, chairs, towels, etc. The kitchen is well- equipped with cooking supplies .Many spices, etc are also on hand. It was very easy to prepare meals and a grocery store is close by ( or stop at Costco when you arrive - near the airport) The unit has a comfortable king bed . Wi Fi works great and leather sofas are very nice. It is very relaxing to watch the golfers and birds from the deck before heading out for the day. Lots to do on the island- golf, hiking, beach-time, and boat rides, etc. The host even has a nice library of guide books to help you plan. We will be back!

Sweet ocean views at this charming condo

We had a wonderful stay here. Great location for a couple's getaway. Private and fully equipped, with a super accommodating host. We enjoyed ocean & golf course views from the relaxing lanai. We will be back.

A Delightful Stay

I worried about no shade on the deck but it has a slight angle to the Northwest. The lounges are in a perfect location. Beautiful view and evening breezes. The condo is spacious and comfortable. Waikoloa village is very close to our favourite beaches. It is centrally located, making it easy to get to many island attractions. The community swimming pool is across the street and my husband took advantage of the Golfing. Thank you.

The property was perfect for a couple who wants to be a little bit away from the oceanfront, play tennis or golf, and just relax. The views from the deck were beautiful. Most things were 15 minutes away or so, and easily drivable. The host's description of the property had a lot of good suggestions for beaches and activities.
