"The property definitely needs some TLC. Next to none nearby good food or drink. Bathrooms smelt like urine. I've stayed in historical homes before that didn't smell as bad as this one. My room was 80 degrees and wouldn't go down in temp. No friendly staff to greet you."

"Clean, nicer and responsive. I made a last-minute reservation. I was concerned at first because I didn’t know how to check in, left a message through the app, and the owner/manager replied right away and sent me all the info. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but make sure to place the order at least the night before using the form or QR code in the room so they can prepare it for you. I will go there again."

"Wheeler's Inn was a great place to stay! It's perfect for hikers, having free water, snacks, coffee or tea, a cozy sitting area and a front porch with rockers. Guests have their own bedroom and a shared bathroom. Great beds and plenty of towels and toiletries available. I'll definitely be staying here again when I'm section hiking in the area."
