60th Birthday Celebration

Booked for 60th Birthday Party weekend. House was large enough for our group of 16. Loved having en suite bathrooms for all bedrooms except for one on bottom level which was no biggie. Too early in the year for pool but used hot tub. House has all you need. Loved all the decks space. Loved the pool bar. Loved the green space, which was used for corn hole. Easy walk to beach and to the small grocery store that has everything you need in case you forgot something. Only two downsides were: noise level carries throughout the house. Be sure to bring ear plugs! Blue chairs in living room are stained and gross! House needs a super deep clean for sure!

Celebration Weekend

We booked this property 11 months out to celebrate a college graduation with family. The house had plenty of room with couples having their own bedroom and private bathroom; we had 11 adults and 7 children. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving needs, plenty of plates, glasses, and mugs. A Keurig and two coffee pots were clutch. enough bath and hand towels and face cloths, however, the kitchen only had one dishcloth and one dish towel, so bring extra. And there is no cooking supplies such as salt and pepper, spices, etc., you need to bring ALL cooking needs. The bathrooms all had a new rolls of toilet paper, so if your stay is extended you'll need to replace on your own, along with kleenex and paper towels. Also, bring dish detergent and dishwashing detergent. No beach towels or beach chairs. The pool area was wonderful, very well maintained. We had an amazing stay!

Fall Family vacation

We had a lovely time despite 3 days of rain. We had 21 of us ranging in age from grandparents, parents, and 14 kids ages 4 - 18. We had plenty of space and enough bedrooms. Dishes and kitchen utensils were plentiful - we asked for more silverware and had some within the hour. We were delighted that the pool was not closed up yet bc the kids went in even though it wasn't heated at this time of year. Our only complaint for our particular family was that we would have preferred having couches instead of a pool table in the 'family room'. Our teens & pre-teens would have made better use of seating space to hang out in the lower level. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.

Smile N Wave Problems

House was very nice, but it was extremely dirty and unkept, both inside and out. When reported, the issues were not resolved at all. Although I had requested a manager contact me, it never happened. After we checked out, I stopped at the rental office and talked with Kathy Davis who promised to resolve our issues. This has not yet happened, as we just recently checked out, but I do expect some type of restitution.

Will definitely be back!!

Very spacious...everyone had more than enough room. Unfortunately the pool wasn't opened just yet, but we definitely enjoyed the hot tub. Located just steps away from the beach...Easy access to take a nice walk to see the water. Check in was very easy. Would highly recommend this property.

Great house/location; needs more attention from property manager

Our family of 20 adults/teens spent Thanksgiving weekend at this house and loved the layout and amount of space we had -we didn't feel crowded and with 8 bedrooms, everyone had a place to get away if needed. The location of the house, a block from the beach and from a great store/bar, was perfect. There were some things, though, that were disappointing. When we arrived, it was clear that the house hadn't been recently cleaned - while the beds were made, the floors were visibly dirty, there was a terrible smell from the kitchen sink disposal, and the clean dishes in the dishwasher had grown mold. Adding to the disappointment was that the hot tub and kitchen refrigerator were broken our entire time (the property management company was responsive and sent repairmen for both issues, but they weren't resolved in the 3 days we were there). And a few smaller things - there was a broken chair, two broken pool cues, and a broken mug, in the house, plus the wiring on the tv system in the living room was hanging by a thread and we had to tape it together to get sound. If the property managers would give the house some extra attention, it would be perfect.
