Ocean front Condo

The check in process was efficient. Parking was a challenge for my F-150. It was too tall to make it to second level in garage, so I parked in general lot and had to hope a spot was available each time i returned. Other than that our stay was very pleasant.

Be careful.

The property’s location is excellent. The communication with the owner was excellent. However; the owner chose not to work with the Dolphin Condos. Something about fees. Therefore, we had to negotiate with Dolphin workers who were complaining about helping us. There’s no laundry in the condo; there’s a coin operated one on the floor. That was misleading in the advertisement. The place hasn’t been updated since the 1980’s. The dishwasher did not work, and then we had some random stranger in the condo for 3 hours trying to replace it on Tuesday. It didn’t work unless you shoved it under the counter with your hip. After having That done other random stranger come in to check it, it didn’t get run until Friday. The screen door was broken. There was no “welcome” package. The card keys were not programmed so we could get in. Come on. Either VRBO needs to work with condo realtors or not.

A great deal for a young couple:)

We loved our time in this suite. :) Loved the location/condo staff. We arrived outside of normal hours and the staff at the front desk was unprepared (previous staff did not inform upcoming staff of our pending arrival), but security was super helpful and the guard was very kind. He let us into our room after confirming with the host we were supposed to be there. The suite could have used a good deep cleaning/there were a couple bugs we killed during our stay that you may want to follow up about. Overall, we felt like for the price we paid it was a great deal! We originally were going to have a third adult come with us 7 stay for the rescheduled Morgan Wallen concert, and this space would have been WAY MORE than spacious enough for us all. 10/10 loved the balcony and direct beach access <3

Best location

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed here in this condo. You can't beat the location and view! It has four queen beds so there is plenty of room if you have a larger family :)

Old and dirty

We had a great time, good location, nice staff at bldg.,owner quick to respond, shower pressure amazing! That said, I have to mention a few things. The dated decor I saw in pics so that was expected, but the date of the carpets is just gross. Did not want to walk on in bare feet. Also the place was very dirty. Bathrooms and bedrooms ok, but kitchen sticky with food still in burners on stove. Placemats all had food stuck on them. Dust everywhere. And no basic necessities to get you started. No toilet paper in master bath, no dish soap or paper towels etc. I purchased these items and left some to get the next people started. Lastly, a HUGE cockroach apperared one night while playing games with our friends. Owner said this problem and the cleanliness issues were taken care of prior to our stay but, as the owner of a cleaning service, it left ALOT to be desired!

Dolphin Run

Il s'agit d'un deuxième séjour au Dolphin Run, la première expérience, nous avons réservé directement par l'administration de l'immeuble et l'unité loué directement par l'administration du Dolphin Run était impeccable de propriété avec un service de nettoyage par l'immeuble. Nous avons réservé au même endroit mais en utilisant VRBO.com car il ne restait plus d'unité disponible à louer directement par l'administration du Dolphin Run. À ma grande surprise, je m'attendais avec un utilisateur de VRBO.com, un minimum de propreté, et c'était tout le contraire. Je peux comprendre que le propriétaire n'est pas intéressé à payer pour un entretien professionnel de nettoyage avant l'arrivée d'un client...mais malheureusement pour lui, en affaire, il doit répondre aux attentes des clients à la hauteur du prix à payer pour une réservation de son unité. Il n'est pas normal qu'un client doit passer quelques heures de son temps pour nettoyer en profondeur l'unité qu'il a lui-même loué pour ses vacances. Ok pour l'obligation d'apporter ses propres draps. Je les apportes de toutes façon peu importe l'endroit que je loue pour les vacances, par contre, un de mes enfants après la deuxième nuit se retrouve avec des démangeaisons sur l'abdomen causés par des punaises et des grains de café se retrouve un peu partout dans les gardes-robes..le propriétaire est possiblement au courant de cette fameuse recette de grand-mère pour éloigner les insectes indésirables. Dommage. Je ne reviendrai plus.

Bring cleaning supplies & roach spray

Although this unit was a bit cheaper than others, the lower price is not worth the agrivation of what you're up against in this unit. I can tolerate a dated condo as long as it is cleaned & maintained. The unit was neither. Carperts were not vacuumed, and our cleaning cloths were black after wiping down the tile floors. Chairs had tears in them. Ceiling fan in bathroom was hanging, which mtc came to fix. Its like the unit wasnt touched prior to our arrival. Crumbs even left on slip cover in one bed and a dress was left undef the bed from a previous occupant. The worst overall, however, was the constant battle of killing roaches. We used up an extra large can of household Raid ant/roach killer. We zip locked bagged any food items left out, as they crawled out from crevices, in cabinets, dishwasher, under toaster/coffe maker and routinely on the floors in kitchen & living rm. Family was scuzzed out. My daughter did not know it, but her boyfriend & family would be secretly staying in another unit and he would be proposing to her on the beach. To find another place would have been difficult, costly and disruptive to detailed plans. We had to stick it out, but did not want mtc to spray industrial pesticides while occupying the unit. Location is ideal and certainly the other unit our friends were in was much better because it is properly cared for. This unit should not be allowed to rent out until it is professionally treated for roach infestation. It tainted our time for sure.

Needs a good cleaning

We visited our son who is in the Navy so the location was perfect. Great views and easy access to the beach. The set up of the condo is perfect. We realized the week before we flew out that we had to provide our own linens and towels, so that added a stress to our trip. The whole condo needs a good cleaning. All the glass was really dirty. The building security was wonderful. Thank you for the stay.

Pleasantly surprised

After reading some of the reviews we were a little worried about the rental. Although it could use a little updating. The issues I seen were minor. The location was just what we like close to attractions but far enough out of the crazy stuff. Had an issue at check in but was handled very well by the staff of the Dolfin run . I also called the owner and she was very helpful and concerned . I feel it was a nice place at an affordable price.

Quick recharge

Beautiful place, just too crowded with furniture and glass tops were intimidating. The closets were too packed that didn’t leave room to store our luggage. Overall we did enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful view of the ocean and watching the sun rise.

The great thing about the stay is that it was directly on the beach. The condo was very clean.

Furniture was ripped, comforters were stained and soiled. Some of the lamps were inoperable. Legs on dining chairs were loose and wobbly.

Great location, but condo dirty and dated

After hours of driving, our family just wanted to settle into a clean condo, unpack, and relax. The front desk was friendly and helpful as we entered the building, although we were turned off as soon as we entered the dated condo. The floor was clearly dirty- hair and grime on the floor. It smelled like someone opened up a can of ass in the place. We were not happy campers! We immediately whipped out the Lysol we thankfully brought and began to clean all the surfaces, knobs, handles, remotes, switches, and bathrooms. To be fair, it was "picked up"- beds were made, but things seemed sticky. The kitchen cabinets are very grimey- and in this day and era of covid, we did expect MUCH BETTER cleanliness! We spent our first hour there cleaning and disinfecting. When we were done it was late and we wanted to relax and watch a bit of TV, and 2 of the 3 TVs did not work- ugh... this took a couple days to remedy- my husband noticed 2 HDMI cables were missing from the 2 tvs not working. One was fixed after the maintenance gave us one HDMI cable that my husband installed, and then COX came in to fix the last tv a couple days later. After everything was fixed, cleaned and put together, we enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was well equipped, the balcony was nice, but VERY narrow and small, and the elevators were quick. Most importantly the beach was really nice!

Significant cleanliness issues

Disappointing experience. Bathrooms were filthy especially floor. Hair tufts in corners of bathroom. Glass tables had fingerprints and kitchen cabinets had food stains. Decor very outdated and run down. Balcony is very narrow in width. Parking spot was in corner and hard to maneuver into. Linen situation very limiting.

First off, when I booked this listing there was NO MENTION of the fact that they didn't provide linens and towels. I even double checked the listing and the email confirmation I received a day before we left. So our first trip was to Walmart to spend extra money on sheets and towels. I contacted the owner about it who basically argued with me that it was listed on the listing. looks like they finally updated the listing to provide that info. Guess that's good for everyone else, wasn't for us! Second: The confirmation email I received from VRBO had the wrong parking # and door combo. Only found that out when we found the referenced parking number didn't exist and called the owner. The Dolphin Run staff was very nice and helpful as they could be through this rocky start. The condo is VERY outdated, which we expected, so that wasn't a surprise. Pictures listed on VRBO really need to be updated. Location is great! Dolphin Run itself was nice. We ended up having a good time. But I don't think I'd stay in this unit again.

Clean and comfortable, good location

Well-stocked and well-situated with great views of the ocean. The balcony was smaller than expected and the parking garage had disturbingly low ceilings but the unit itself was comfortable and private. It would be great if there were access from the building directly onto the boardwalk instead of having to walk around the building but the inconvenience was fairly minor. Great access to the shuttle. Highly recommend getting a three-day unlimited pass for easy access all up and down the beach. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted but there was almost no space to store food and it was too small for more than one person at a time. Expect to eat out a lot. Fortunately there are a ton of great restaurants to choose from!

Perfect vacation

Pleasant stay

This condo was comfortable for a babymoon. Clean and adequately appointed. It is however dated and the building is showing its age. But still a good beach front location with great beach views. Do not pay attention to any of the check in instructions you get through vrbo - none of it was right. When you arrive at the property, go to the front desk and check in and use their instructions for parking and they'll give you keys. If you stay at this property in the next year: there are already enough coffee filters :)
