Refresh yourself in the pool during the midday heat. End the day with a glass of local wine and be enchanted by the view of the hilly surroundings.



Many activities are open to you nearby - cycling, horseback riding or sailing. You can also drive to the beach 8 km away and jump into the sea. If you feel like a day trip, within reach is the volcano Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. You can also visit the ancient city of Taormina. It was visited by Goethe in the 18th century and described in his Italian Journey. Here you can experience the ancient Greek theater, many old churches, lively bars, fine restaurants and antique stores.
