Amazing place

Really good for big groups. A lot of social areas and relaxing atmosphere. In the surrounding towns very little tourist so a real italian holiday. The chairs and outdoor table was a bit old. When closing the shutters the bedrooms got really dark and it is a stone building so cold if you keep the doors closed during daytime. Good service and help when needed.

Amazing stay!!

It was really amazing! The contact was quick and easy and he was waiting for us to arrive so we could go straight into the villa. Everything was so pretty and clean. We were wirh 17 girls and they places a extra bed in a room what was fine. They cleaned up daily and helped us everytime we needed it is even without asking. Also they would recommended where we should go on our stay. On the day we left they let us stay until we had to leave for the airport and enjoy the pool for the last day! In short we loved it all! Thank you for this amazing trip

Get together in Sicily

9 friends rendezvous in Sicily. Kitchen could have been better equipped with items for cooking meals. Property grounds were being upgraded. Great communication with hosts. Nice local host.

Schöne Villa in Mitte der Weinberge Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes wann auch ein sehr kleines Bad und jeweils einen eigenen Ausgang zur Terrasse im Süden mit Blick zum Meer Im Haus ist eine Große Küche mit allem erforderlichen Küchengeschirr, leider eine Kaffeemaschine ohne Filter die auch in der Umgebung schwer zu bekommen sind Ein wunderschöner großer Außenpool mit Blick auf das Meer Ein großer Gartengrill ist auch vorhanden Haus allgemein sehr schön

Amazing pool

Great location - no wifi in the annex also no coffee maker. No kettles. Kitchens could be better equipped - overall we had a great time. Outdoors is so pretty but they could use more outdoor furniture to make better use of the property.

Perfekt opphold

Med leiebil så er denne plassen perfekt for hvem som helst. Helt fantastisk fin plass. Bildene lyger ikke. Kort vei med leiebil til 2 flotte små landsbyer (5-10 min). Veldig behjelpelig eier med familie. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Entspannte Familienwoche

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche zu elft (11 erwachsene Personen) in diesem Anwesen verbracht. Dadurch, dass jedes Zimmer ein (sehr kleines) Bad hat, war der gemeinsame Aufenthalt sehr entspannt. Wir haben die Ruhe dort sehr genossen. Das Haus ist tatsächlich so, wie auf dem Internet-Auftritt abgebildet. Der Pool ist einfach wunderbar und der Blick aufs Meer fantastisch. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt. Natürlich ist ein Auto erforderlich. Der nächste Ort ist eine ca. 20 Minuten entfernt. Dort gibt es Lebensmittelgeschäfte und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Zu den Sandstränden bei Catania fährt man ca eine Stunde. Man ist aber immer wieder froh, in die Ruhe in den Weinbergen zurückzukehren. Wir werden sicherlich einmal wieder kommen.

Wonderful Villa for a big family getaway

We were traveling with two families of 4, plus my mother-in-law. Kids ages were 6, 8, 16 and 18. This villa is the perfect sicily experience. The driveway is a little hard to find. the street number is spray-painted on the wall. also, there are two security gates to get in. Have the phone number for the property manager upon arrival to call to get in. Because it is an active vineyard, there are grounds people daily tending to the area. They are very nice and helpful if needed. We loved walking the grounds to see the vineyard. The roses and flowers among the grounds are very well kept. The views of both Mt. Etna and the city are spectacular. One night we were able to see a lava flow from Mt. etna from a recent eruption. There is even a small cave! (formed from a lava flow years and years ago we are assuming). Utilizing the smaller house as well, we we had more than enough sleeping space and bedrooms. We also ate dinner in the villa every night. The kitchen was clean and functional and we were able to use to heat up food, etc. We usually went into the town and brought back food. None of know how to speak Italian. Everyone in the restaurants, shops, etc. were very nice and we found at least one person in every location that could speak a little english so we could order what we needed to. The eating area inside fit our family. Additionally, there is a large table and eating area one one of the decks. The villa was very clean, keep in mind it is and older home. Some things to consider is the bathrooms (specifically the showers) are kind of small. Coming from the US, were bathrooms and showers are larger, this is something to prepare for. We had a couple larger men (over 6 foot) in our party, and the shower was a little tight. However, there is a bathroom with an open handicap shower area as an option if the shower is too small. Also, the staircases to get up to the roof-deck is very narrow as well. The pool area is very nice, and the grounds-person skims and maintains it daily. There are also bathrooms under the pool which are great as well. We were very happy with our stay here. We have never been to the area before and felt like staying here gave us a local Sicily experience and great quality family time.

Great villa in fantastic location

We stayed in the villa with a family of fifteen in April 2018. Everybody enjoyed the stay very much. Because of the very high amount of space inside and outside the villa, which was more than expected, it never felt cramped. All interactions with the owner and the agency were excellent and very helpful. The people taking care of the villa and the premises are extremely friendly, too, and very helpful on a day-to-day basis. The rooms are very nicely decorated, high standard. The bathrooms are in very good shape, too. One aspect that got too little attention in the other reviews here is how fantastic the villa is located: in the midth of a large vineyard, at the end of a large private street, so it is far away from any distracting noise. The views from the villa and the pool area are spectacular: 180° ocean view, and towards the Catania side, it feels like a 100 km view down the southeastern coast of Sicily. Although it is about 700 m above sea level (which makes the great views!), you can reach Catania and the highway easily, and the location on the Etna south side grants lots of sun and wonderful vegetation. The Etna, by the way, is within view most of the time, too, so it is a perfect location between mountain and ocean. Don't miss a trip to the Etna, and a walk within the volcanic landscape, which is in easy reach (30 minute drive up the mountain). All in all, despite all the interesting places nearby to see, you will enjoy a perfect day just staying in the villa (and the pool area), and enjoy the views and tranquillity.

Sehr schönes und gut ausgestattetes Haus, zuverlässige Abwicklung und freundlicher Service.

Wir waren mit 11 Personen im März 2018 für eine Woche in der Villa und haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Die großzügigen Räume, die gute Ausstattung und der freundliche Empfang mit einigen Flaschen Wein vom Weingut und einem gefüllten Swimmingpool trotz Vorsaison haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns richtig wohlgefühlt haben. Deshalb volle 5 Sterne trotz gelegentlichen WLAN-Aussetzern und zwei Zimmern in dem etwas abseits gelegenen Nebengebäude.

Une magnifique villa entourees de toute part par les vignes de la propriete . Malgre que nous parlions ni italien ( ni sicilien) le monsieur en charge de nous acceuillir etait tres courtois et efficace. La region (Evidement l'Etna) splendide. Underbart läge på Etnas sydsluttning med vulkanens rykande topp åt ena hållet och havet åt det andra. Vackert beläget omgivet av vinodlingar. Poolen var makalöst bra. Välutrustat och unikt boende. Vänliga och hjälpsamma kontaktpersoner. Man skall kanske tänka på att temperaturen uppe på berget är åtminstone 5 grader lägre än nere i Catania. En fördel på sommaren, men kanske en nackdel off-season

++ * Statig ruim huis met mooie royale ligging & uitstraling * Vrijel alle spullen om hier comfortabel te verblijven zijn aanwezig * Prachtig (afgeschermd) zwembad * Vriendelijke bereidwillige (Roemeense) housekeeper * Leuk plaatsje met alle basis voorzieningen is vlakbij (Trecastagni). -/- * Er zouden fietsten zijn, die zijn ondanks navraag nooit gekomen * Er zou af en toe een groep kinderen op het terrein zijn; dat was echter dagelijks en soms met een veel te grote (100 man) omvang * Wifi is matig, je krijgt een quotum data per dag wat met 11 man rond 9 uur 's morgens al op is (bij normaal gebruik) * Stroom viel herhaaldelijk uit en moest je dan zelf weer aanzetten (stoppenkast) * Wij zouden op vrijdagavond laat (23 uur) arriveren, eenmaal ter plaatsen was er geen toegang tot huis mogelijk, eigenaar met sleutel was onbereikbaar ondanks duidelijke afspraken vooraf. Uiteindelijk noodgedwongen uitgeweken naar hotel (rond middernacht) hetgeen keurig is vergoed. Echter niet iets wat je wilt na lange vliegreis met diverse kleine kinderen. Tot zover.
