Just perfect

This is our second stay at The Nest. Our family is scattered throughout Indiana, so we gather at The Nest for our Christmas. The Nest is beautifully decorated for the holiday. We are always so impressed with the cleanliness. The house is supplied with everything one could wish for. I can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect.

The host has done a great job with this property! Down to many small details, they go above and beyond a normal VRBO host’s role. Very accommodating and has everything you would ever need or want in a stay. HIGHLY recommend!!

This is our 3rd time staying at "The Nest". Each time the stay has been truly wonderful. The house is well equipped with all needed kitchen items and appliances. The beds are comfortable. Perfection

I have stayed at many VRBO properties and Karin is doing it right! The communication was great, the listing was accurate... the photos was spot on...the house and furnishings and all the little things she did made this get-away amazing! The bunk room was a favorite of my granddaughters.. I could go on and on.. but to sum it up.. this property was perfect! Kudos to you,Karin... My NEST experience awaits!

A Week Wasn’t Enough Time!

Charming home renovated with style and a decorator’s eye. Many comfortable places to gather inside and out. Hosts were readily available and a pleasure to meet. The house is perfectly prepared to spoil its guests! We enjoyed the whole week there with friends. Thank you Matt and Karin!

2nd time around

This property was just as wonderful this trip (our 2nd) as it was last year. We chose to come back to the same location this year because of the great peaceful riverside location as well as the wonderful house. Karin has made sure every detail is taken care of. It is so clean and the kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you will need. There was plenty of sleeping space for our group of 6 adults. After this 2nd stay it is starting to feel like home! We are already planning to try to come back next fall.

Small Town Treasure

This was far and away one of the best homes we have rented! The house has been beautifully restored with so much attention to detail. Karin was an amazing host. The extra little touches were above and beyond. We enjoyed it for a couple’s weekend and exploring the area. This small town treasure will not disappoint.

Girl’s Trip

This is our 2nd stay at the Nest. The house is beautiful and very cozy. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. We loved the extra touches of wine and chocolates. Drove into Madison to visit Lanthier Winery, Mad Paddle Brewery and lunch at Shipleys and then back to Boondoggles Pub in Vevay for great burgers. I highly recommend this house. You will not be disappointed.

Great place to stay!!

This was our 2nd year in a row to stay at The Nest. It's always decorated for Christmas which makes it extra special. Matt and Karin provide everything you would need. It's just a very quaint little town and so relaxing! Thanks again for a great stay!!

Well equipped and comfortable

This house was so comfortable for our group of 7. Comfortable beds and beautiful decor. There was plenty of space to relax together in the common areas and the great backyard. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen of any rental property I've ever stayed at! There was nothing missing. If you're planning to cook a lot on your trip, this is a perfect house. The owner us also very easily accessible and quick to respond. All around fantastic house!

More than Five Stars

If I could give The Nest more than 5 stars I would. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. One of my favorite parts of the stay was sitting on the front porch, under a gentle fan, watching birds and squirrels scurry about. The Nest is magical.

Absolutely Amazing

From the moment you stepped thru the front door you are amazed by this house. Absolutely beautiful. And we did not want for nothing. Everything we needed was there including little treats for kids and adults. House was clean, rooms were awesome and not a single complaint about beds from either the kids or the adults. And kids loved the bunk room. We were in little town of Vevay and only 30 minutes from Clifty Falls State park. Town has awesome little shops we could walk too. We cooked most of our meals but did have dinner at Red Pepperoni per owners recommendation and it was great! Will absolutely be back and will most definitely be staying at The Nest.

Friends Weekend

The home is everything the pictures would indicate but even better! Each room is spacious, immaculate, incredibly comfortable and decorated with impeccable attention to detail. We enjoyed afternoons on the cozy front porch and evening in the backyard around the fire pit. Picked up delicious pizza's from Roxano's & took a day trip to Madison for hiking at Clifty & tastings at the local wineries. Wonderful weekend! This property is absolutely LOVELY, as are its owners. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
